I am going to try sog this time around too.

Hey cruz,
I think its more productive, i for some reason cannot get good results from a big plant (bush style), but have had no problem getting fat nugs off SOG. Next round for me is the whole 5 feet long cabinet in SOG PPP ONLY!!:bigjoint:
Also i need to let the plants get a bit taller if i can, and get the stalks a bit fatter. The ones in my current grow like this have much fatter denser buds than the skinnier stalk plants. I assume it has to do with what the plant can support based on stalk thickness. So fatter stalks mean fatter buds!!

Also I Made a much needed trip to the store today. Not good to run out of nutes in the middle of a grow!! :wall: Im getting lazy......:eyesmoke:

So Heres what I got:

400 Watt MH Reflector Hood (Sunleaves Aurora) : Dude gave me this hood for 20 F$#@!&* Dollars!!!! I couldn't resist it!:o I took down the homemade hood I had on the left side of the flower cabint, did some wiring and re-arranging and bam!...light hood that hooks up to my 40 dollar ballast.....thats a deal!

:bigjoint:....And it came with a free bottle of Humboltd Countys Snow Storm Ultra! WOW!!!!!!!
attachment.php

Had to grab some Tiger Bloom, Big, Bloom and PH UP. Never bought this brand before, its technaflora PHUP. OH, got another pack of the small RW cubes for the next round, i cant beleive its here all ready!

And a few shots of the buds today.......;-)

Darn right i paid cash...:bigjoint:....fast as fast can be , you'll never catch me....:blsmoke:

He did say i couldn't return it, so it was kind of a quick decision and pray the socket from my light could maybe be rigged to it. But for twenty bucks, if it didnt work, i could of sold it and made my money back plus some. GOOD CALL!:hump:

Thanks Cruz!bongsmilie

EDIT:

I found this description on line for the snow storm ultra i got at the store to see what it does. Here it is:

yhst-34708634314647_2060_2486140
If you like Purple Maxx or Snow Storm, but color is not your primary goal, then Snow Storm Ultra is for you. We isolated the “snow storm” effect and optimized it for maximum results. Absolutely nothing else like it on the market. Does not contain carbohydrates or molasses. Three years of development went into this Humboldt County original. Best of all, this additive works with all your favorite nutrient lines. When used with Gravity, Snow Storm will take your plants beyond anything achievable with fertilizer alone.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Im guessing it promotes massive trich production, i watered the above pictured plants with 1/2 tsp gravity, 1/2 tsp of Snow storm, and 2 TB of Grandmas mollasses, and PH'd the water to 6.45. The next day it looked like the crystals would just fall off if you shook it........well like they were hit with a snow storm!!LOL!!!

Me likes already!!!

Sweet score on the lights and sample lil, how are they working out for ya? You planning on air cooling them? Here is a link to the aurora reflector flange kit: http://www.wormsway.com/detail.aspx?t=prod&sku=SAFK190&AC=1

They are a good price I thought

spacer.gif

Right on tom!!

Good ol' worms way....didnt think about them. $9.95 for a flange kit, thats the cheap part, i still would need inlines, ducting, and that one minor problem...lol....im in a concrete room....

i have to figure out a way to vent it out in another spot other than the door. already got intake with cold air returns on the door, and some 4 inch inlines just stubbed through the door. Its hard to drill through to.....:wall:....i tried that once nd gave up after an hour and only had three 1/2 inch holes drilled...lol

+ rep if they let me though for the find!!!!!

Damn bro... is there even a plant under all those trichs? It's like a mass of trichs, pistils, and an odd leaf.

Nice score on the Snow Storm Ultra. Definitely jealous over here. As if you didn't have enough thc all over those girls, now you got a booster.

Cool macro pics too. I've never gotten shots that good with a loop.

And of course... love your plants.

Hey guys!

Thanks Jig, the SS is worth whatever the price tag says. My younger plants, 2-3 weeks in flower, the leaves are curled and stuck together from all the trichs. The older ones below got a boost for the last two weeks. And the bottle states if used with gravity, which i do, to expect outstanding results.

So these these girls below are ones that look like they are the most ready, they are on the last day of 8 weeks flowered friday, and have had one flush two days ago. I think i may be behind on the flushing......what do you guys think? Can they ride the last week out and get more flush through them? or should they come down friday?

I think i am gonna leave them go the whole week and get a full 9 weeks in to get proper flush...........:wall:.......i think.....

nice plants..the trichs say there ready..thats going to be some couch lock shit there, just look at all the amber trichs...i also have been useing purple maxx two day before my rez change and hours after putting it in the rez i can see the flowers looking more "ALIVE" and alot more THC..i thought the stuff was bogus but after 2 weeks of useing it for 2 days a week IM SOLD! just cost so dame much...

Snow Storm? Hum.
Sure sounds like it rocks. I got so much shit though. I am a sucker for additives. I just picked up the whole line of dutch masters stuff. small amounts but enough for a grow.

Yea, I bet drilling a hole is a pain in the ass. I just sunk some anchors in concrete and had to borrow a drill that was like a jack hammer while it drilled. Worked good though, I think its called a hammer drill.

.

tried a hammer drill with a 3/4 inch bit. I got 4 holes drilled in a circle and nothing......
It took me hours to get that done.

Update soon, they are getting ready

Stick some dynamite in those holes.

LOL

I wonder if they make a blade that you could attach to a sawsall that would fit into one of those holes and cut that shit.

Well, they make a hole saw that comes in 4 and 6 inch that has cabide tips to cut block and masonry......;-).

It goes in a hammer drill and works like a big drill bit. The downside is that it cost about fourty dollars for a four inch one, and i need a six inch.

Here we go in the 9th week of flower for these girls.

Two came down today but only got a pic of one.....:wall: trimmed.

I can see the finish line guys, we are in the flush, and trichs are turning......
