I just noticed that my 3 week olds have been vegging on a 16/8 schedule, not 18/6...

They were on 24/0 for the first few days...then I intended to go 18/6, but screwed up...

What now? should I just dial in 18/6 now? Go to 24/0?

Thank you in advance...

These plants flower when the the time of sunlight during the day shortens up. keep them like that and when your ready to switch to flower than go 12/12. Don't stress them even more trying to change the light cycle again.

he will really slow his grow with 16/8 he should just bump it up an hour every two days until its 20/4 or 18/6 whatever, the longer the light is on the less time it takes.

Oh shit look the voice of reason. Damn I can't understand some other peoples reasoning sometimes...

It really doesn't matter x hours after y days. You can just flip them to your desired photoperiod...stress happens when it changes many hours many days consecutively.

they'll be fine either way, you cannot make a plant that is not flowering or starting to flower hermie. and on the other hand if you think of it the amount of light a plant recieves increases as the days lengthen during vegging and the light received lessening is what triggers flowering., so putting it back up to 24/0 isnt gonna hurt none.

I'm not going to lie. When you posted this i went and looked at my timer to see if i accidentally did the same thing............. :)

So this is the same kind of hype as "any light at all during flower will cause hermies" that completely over looks the fact that outdoors grows have moonlight all night long on almost every night of the season? I'm learning to question everything I read on this site.

Ok, adjusted the timer today while the photoperiod is active...

Added two hours two the front end of the dark period..

Now on 18/6

while i kinda agree with you the thing is that the light from the moon is not nearly as intense as say the lights being on for a minute or a light leak. you can have a few light interuptions and be ok some of the time but it really does fuck with the flowering hormone.

I forgot to say this part b4-by a few interuptions I mean like 1 or possibley 2 throughout the full flowering process, if you mess with it more than that its chances of hermis start going up, alot.
