Runt worth keeping ?

I have 6 plants going right now. 3 in week 3 seedling and the other three sprouted a couple days ago. One of the first three is about a 1/4 of the size as the other two. Is it even worth keeping it around? When it was sprouting the casing wouldn’t fall off so I had to help it. I thought only the first two leaves were gonna be weird but they’re all coming out weird. The main stem hasn’t really grown in any way shape or form. Am I just wasting light energy at this point. I know it’s not much but still could be using it for other plants image.jpg image.jpgA16054F3-5C75-4AD6-BF95-18812766E57C.jpeg181ED20B-34CB-484C-B3BA-5B3B93EA0C35.jpeg

Your mix looks super airy. You’d need to feed often to keep that pH in check without much soil to buffer.

You can get that leaf mass in under 10 days so yea - pH related issues here.

Well you can grow in coco and water every day - it holds oxygen very well. You have made a semi hydro system. Probably water less in quantity but more often at the right pH.

3 weeks and they should be wee bushes!!
They’re just getting to 3 weeks . This Sunday will make 3 weeks above soil. What should I do ?

Personally, since I usually have to many seeds just sitting around, I kill plants that arent growing the same as the others in the run, the next to take its place will grow as normal and minimal loss in harvest weight compared to a plant that finishes half the size of the others.

Im gonna guess your using a very low real wattage light here though if those pictures are 3 weeks in

It’s probably not as low as I should have it at this point. I’m gonna measure in a few . Think I have to drop the light down.

So it’s a “1000w LED” I know those ratings are completely off so I have a light meter and it’s reading at about just under 900 watts so it wasn’t that far from the label but still not 1000 true watts . So no to the lighting issue. I just measured the height. It’s 24” from the plants. I think I need to water more frequently and a little less like this guy was saying. I noticed the coco getting a little drier faster.

I once had a runt that I called the "dwarf dirt dweller" that stunk like hell but turned out to be quite decent smoke

If you have the room to do so, id keep it. Like Renfo said, you wont know if its worth keeping or not, unless you keep it and find out.

You could potentially be throwing out the most potent bud you've ever smoked in your life
