Trump wanted a parade like that in DC. Dictators and their wannabes aren't like you and I.I believe that we would be more proactive but for the balrog in the woodpile.

I am still deeply and negatively impressed by his asking to thermonuke weather.Trump wanted a parade like that in DC. Dictators and their wannabes aren't like you and I.
Which is why it must be done slowly, no sudden moves to spook or nuke, but it must be done. They can't win the conventional fight and will be blead to death on the battlefield. Ole Joe knows the rules of proxy & cold war, apparently Vlad forgot them to his peril.I believe that we would be more proactive but for the balrog in the woodpile.

the only difference is we intended to step in eventually in ww2...we're just going to let the Ukrainians die to the last man without sending them anything but weapons they won't have the men to operate eventually...The irony about Waters' outrage over the US supplying Ukraine with weapons is, that's the main contribution the US made to the Soviets that helped them defeat Germany on the Eastern front. We let the Soviets wear down the Germans and take the losses. Not very different from what we are doing in Ukraine.
i hope it doesn't happen either......Considering how some of our Republicans behave in terms of blaming the opponent for misdeeds done by themselves, the scary scenario is that Russia has made or is making a dirty bomb designed to look like an enemy improvisation.
Using it (especially in a population center, like Belgorod or Simferopol) and then screaming about Ukrainian wmd use could possibly be the way Russia justifies retaliating in kind. And since Russia (a civilized nation unlike the feral Nazis they are fighting to expel from a breakaway republic) has none such, the only proportional response necessarily means using one or a few tactical nuclear weapons on or near the battlefield.
I hope I’m very wrong.
If they used it on Ukrainian soil, like Kherson it would be just too obvious and if they used it on a regional Russian city or just outside one, the radioactive isotopes could Id the source to the fissionable material. They could use shit from a Ukrainian reactor, but where is the original source material from? I believe with a conventional weapon they can pinpoint the source of the fissionable material with residual radio isotopes.Considering how some of our Republicans behave in terms of blaming the opponent for misdeeds done by themselves, the scary scenario is that Russia has made or is making a dirty bomb designed to look like an enemy improvisation.

Definitely with prompt-fission weapons; the isotope fingerprints are diagnostic. A dirty bomb has no intrinsic nuclear chemistry, so an agent with the wherewithal of, oh, the Russian nuclear engineering establishment can mix to suit. Much easier to obfuscate the origin of the fuel, the reactor residue, or both.If they used it on Ukrainian soil, like Kherson it would be just too obvious and if they used it on a regional Russian city or just outside one, the radioactive isotopes could Id the source to the fissionable material.
