I know the thread is old but I had to speak up for this strain. I could not say it enough,, fastbud, fastbud, fastbud!!!! It is the ideal SOG strain. My fastbud loves to be in contact with the LS I am growing next to her. The LS not so much. The FB is and has been the picture perfect plant. She has been an absolute post card from day one. She doesn't like much nutrients so take the nutes real easy. Super low maintenance. breeder stated 40-90cm tall. My girl topped out at 104cm and she is in 6 liter pot! Her off shoots are also covered in bud sites and the tops of those are just starting to pack on the grams after being popcorn for a while. She has a christmas tree shape to her. Leaf sets are not heavy at all, very good spacing, so good light penitration. She went through a several day period with no growth, but she is back to packing on the weight. At her height of growing she would pack on 5-7cm after every watering. She responds well when being treated both soil and foilage. She has loads of Bud sites all over her, head to toe. She is on day 57 from seed. She is suppose to come down on the 18th, but I am hoping I can hold her off until maybe the 25th or something like that as her buds have been on the thinner side. But she did start to put on weight again starting about three days ago and her buds have so far nearly doubled. Another two or three weeks of growth like now and she will be a great yielder indeed. Her leaves are always at attention and she is very forgiving. She started to kick a light smell after two weeks into flower. The smell nearly went away after a few days. She will kick up a little after every watering, so if you go SOG with several of these and odor is an issue, have a scrubber on hand. I live in an apartment and used nothing to control odor with just one. Now she has a very clean typical earthy marijuana smell to her with a hint of sweet in the background. Her smell is exactly what you want to smell when opening a bag of quality. Nice green color to her. Not too light, not too dark, that is leaves and bud. I used 250 watt hps beginning to end and 12/12 after three weeks because of my LS. The lowest bud sites are not worth mentioning. I would go maybe 2 liter coke bottles on her and double your plant count. make sure she's getting her dark time too, she does most of her growing during lights out. 18/6 or even a little less light after a few weeks.
