Safe or not?

is it safe to wire two 80mm fans 12v .17a,12v .23a and a 120mm fan 12v .85 on a adaptor putting out 22 vdc 7va?

i would get a 12 volt adapter and just wire them in parallel. way better bet. they cost like $1 at most thrift stores :)

ive got a cell phone charger? i think i fried that other adaptor though. will the cell phone charger work to power all three fans i have to get it up and running again quick

Why not spend like $10 and wire each up separately with the proper adapters instead of trying to ghetto rig something that will probably reduce the operating lifespan of your fans and be a potential fire hazard?

because I'm not trying to spend alot of money but i found a120v to 12v 2amp adaptor for my portable dvd player will this work to drive all 3 fans?

yeah for sure it will. just wire all the negative wires together and all the positive ones and hook it up

figured it out running the two 80's on one cell phone charger and the 120 on a seperate on keeping the box right at 81-82 degrees
