oh dude. its free shipping on any order over $50 worldwide, plus every time i order they send me coupons bt 10-30% off my next order. plus you earn points. no clue what they mean yet but I am collecting them :). also, fwiw they will price match anywhere else. so if u find it cheaper on digikey or somewhere and arrow has it, you can get them to adjust price in your cart.
Nice, I will sign up, shipping is free over $50 but perks and price matching would be cool too.

i just remembered I think that @Rocket Soul may have tried running drivers in series like this before and said it works (not with these strips but something else). I could be wrong, wait for him to confirm.

those are really tempting
No, I've done 2 Cv drivers in parallel, going into the same wago. I never tried 2 drivers in series, never gone for the 24V drivers.

Yea, his build was awesome for those diodes. Definitely out of my realm as well though. I was looking around at random red diodes to maybe just apply to some single led starboards, thinking it may be a bit simpler. Again, even that seems daunting and really not fluent enough in soldering and sourcing the proper components to pull even that off.

The buddies are really cool though, the pc reds seem perfect with the wide addition of the red wavelengths and you'd be able to run those along with the strips pretty close to the plants it seems.

I use solstrips for supplemental leds. I don't have any to compare to, but so far they've been good. Customer service is top also.

Anyone have a link to these hollowed out aluminum profiles? Heatsinks? I’ve tried every name and I can’t find these fucking things anywhere. Thx View attachment 4917521
that's a nice profile. not sure where to get those. I found a similar one but it's square. I have used for some shop lights. the L09s fit nice in these too:

I usually use stock u bar kinda like what you got. image.jpg But want to step up the next build a bit. Interesting I got those finned ones off a $5 light lol. Only 4-5” each, wanting 2’ sections..:cuss: shits frustrating bc their all over the eu but nada closer to usa/Canada .

I did just order some of these off your link.. 12-22” bars for $38 shipped. Thanks!
awesome! they are really nice folks. they are close to me so luckily i can just grab stuff at the warehouse and save on shipping. also their factory is in Turkey, and the quality of the aluminum is really good vs most of what is on the market.

Those L09 influx strips are back on for $3.30 each, 4K and 3500k. They usually sit about $12 each. Use promo code 20NEW for $20 off the order. 35 strips for under $100. Not the newest but not the worst, if anyone’s interested, links...

Wow the price on these is sooo hard to resist. Loool. Wish some double row F Series Gen 3 would hurry up and go on sale.

Using the LG drivers and 16 of these strips you could build a 600W lights (4 drivers). For around $100 + aluminum cost. But the fixture effiicacy will be pretty low. Like maybe 2.0umol/J. The way I look at it cheap than a CMH bulb same efficacy and more watts. No cool down/warm up, and dimmable.

I’m not sure arrow has stock on f series anymore or will again.

Yeah, something like that, I’m going bigger though around 40-50 strips 8-10 drivers. Will just make the veg and flower light all in one. As long as it beats the barn light down which I’m sure it will. Will source ir, uv and far red spectrums closer to build time.

what wattage will you run on how much area. 10 drivers lol will be fun to wire. That many drivers on one fixture. Would love to see how you end up wiring it. I found with the 4 drivers I had to cram them around a couple project boxes to get everything going in and out of it of a couple boxes only. This is due to the short length of pig tail the drivers comes with

Just for fun:
On a 1000W fixture with 50 strips and a 93% driver

Nice, well I have 4 leads wired into the room, you can check that out on my side light build. Ditched side light, will run 6 more jumper harness, I use xt60 connectors and nylon conduit, it will look slick. I use 4 wire 14 gauge trailer wiring, it’s a 4 wire ribbon to run to the circuits, 48 volts and 3.2 amps a run is nothing to carry. I would be going 1200w on 3500k strips, 5 strips a driver is the plan, same as my side lights. Would add some 4K and my supplements on top. Area, is about 5.5 x 6.5ft. I’m replacing a 600 SE and a 1k DE fixture.
