San Jose Mayor wants to auction off sellers permits on ebay

As some of you know the amount of dispensaries in San jose has gotten out of hand so the city is voting on april 12th to close them down. Mayor Chuck Reed has this great idea of auctioning off ten sellers permits for the city of san jose on Ebay. Here is a link to the story,

Fucking hilarious. How many pharmacies are there in San Jose? Does the city regulate the number of them?

I think its close to two hundred now. They all opened this last year before the city finalized anything. Now the city wants 10 max.

last count before the 7% tax rate hike was 110 in the greater san jose area. i find this whole thing to be funny because Ebay will not allow an auction that is found to be illegal by federal standards its in their guide lines. i also find it funny the fact he is now playing catch up to get rid of most of the pot clubs after the fact. shows whos head has been up their own ass. notice no other city has this problem other then maybe LA.

lmao, they think they can close 110 dispensaries. im sorry that 110 dispensaries is alot harder to close then they think. especially if they all have payed for a business liscenses,and not to mention its expensive for the manpower and takes alot of tax dollars just to hand out the cease and assist letters

and once there closed how many dispensaries are going to sue the county and win? theres no way a county, who handed out all of the business licenses and recieve tax dollars from dispensaries for the last couple of years, can just shut down all of them and think thats all there is to it. theres not enough district attorneys to even be able to handle that kind of shitstorm
