Sannie's Jack F7

So I have just finished my second run of Sannie's Jack F7, and I have to say I have been very favorably impressed, however I seem to have gotten the more indica of the phenotypes that might still be floating around. I have read that there is both a longer flowering haze pheno and a shorter flowering indica pheno, mine seems to be a little column A and a little column B. I only started four seeds, and got two males and two females. The males were identical, and the females were very similar, and produced similar bud. One simply had better yield and vigor, and so I kept that girl and ran her again. That run is what I have pictures of.

The buds have a great density, and are quite large. Super frosty, and with a distinct lemon haze smell. The taste carries a little lemon, and a bit of haze, but has quite a bit of spicey/peppery/heat to it. The high is fantastic, not quite as clean a sativa high as the Killing Fields F3, this Jack pheno has quite a bit of body punch to it depending on the amount consumed. I probably also let this one run just a little longer than it needed. Total flowering time was just shy of 11 weeks, producing a nice yield of ~80-90g dry weight from coco in a 3 gal smart pot. Definitely could have yielded more if not for the fact that the top burned on my lights right before I induced flowering, essentially fimming it a little later than I would like. It still recovered rather well. And now, bud pr0n.

I will probably be popping the rest of the pack to see if I can get a more haze leaning pheno, but this one definitely isn't leaving my stable any time soon. Moreover, with this kind of potency and quality in an F7 strain, Sannie's Jack seems like a perfect plant for breeding.

and i guess i should add it was vegged under t5s, started flowering under a 600 watt hps and finished under a 1000 watt hps on a mover. coco and perlite, 3 gallon smart pot, drain to waste, GH 3 part for flowering plus other goodies and flora nova grow for veg.

Nice report Clankie! I'm wondering how long you vegged and how tall they finished. I have a pack I'll be running sometime soon too.
What did you have in mind to breed it with?

this was a run from clone so i only vegged around 12-15 days from when they came out of the clone tray. maybe 14-16" tall when flowered and finished at around 40" as a multi topped plant. my seed run i flowered after they showed preflowers and they were tall. definitely a couple weeks of healthy vegging after i induced 12/12 on females slowing preflowers.
re: breeding, since i am getting to know it rather well, it might be good as a tester for male pollen, to see combining ability, and i have some goji OG pollen, jabba's stash plllen, and am definitely collecting sunshine daydream pollen. i plan to do f2s of both the goji and sunshine.

I guess I can expect them to stretch a good bit then. The Killing Fields I'm running has stretched 4-6x already. They were from seed and I flipped @ 3 weeks to try and keep them short but they stiil got too tall.
I'm not familiar with the Sunshine Daydream but a Goji x JH sounds like a killer cross.:weed:

Yep, my KF grew to almost 6 feet tall after being topped.

ssdd is bodhi's bubbashine x appalachia (green crack x tres dawg from h&l now with workingman's dank) and its supposed to be pretty incredible. i've seen some pretty awesome grows of it. i srarted ten of the ssdd and they are in maybe week three of veg so i should be seeing preflowers soonish. the goji have another couple weeks of flowering, but i kept clones of all five females i found, still not sure who the f2 momma will be. i have my eye on a higher yielding OG lookin' lady, but definitely holding off on that decision until i have tried all of them.

all of my killing fields phenos were quite stretchy. they really shine as clones, though, if you flower at 12" or so depending on setup. there are some more purple phenos that only have 2x stretch, but this one is my favorite and she is an easy triple stretch.

Good to hear about the clones. I kept 8 clones awaiting the smoke test so I'm not sure yet if I will run them again. Only got 2 males out of the pack and only one purple female so far.
I'm looking forward to the JH though more than the KF. I expect it will be more my style if I can get the hazy pheno.:hump:

Just finished my Sannie's Jack F7's. All 10 females I got grew very uniform and were all the sativa phenos. All are quite stoney and get you high as fuck. BUT, the Jack I ran from Sensi which I bought in 2007ish is twice as potent and twice as tasty as Sannie's.
Dont get me wrong Sannies is hands down the best that I have tried from current seed stocks bought from several breeders. Have recently looked thru several packs of Sensi JacK Herer for a comparable pheno but had no luck. All were just average.

Can't help but notice your favorite pheno of KF also looks like mine. Sort of a green/purple hybrid. Super frost. And I agree, crystal clear high. Great report.

Makes sense as Sensi's is the original Jack far as I know... Speaking under correction so many tales do the rounds, but the first time I heard of it it was from them... and yeah some of the most potent herb I ever toked, made me hallucinate like mushrooms the first time.
