Just wanna say, I have been puffing on some Bright Moments from Gage Green. It is reminding me of SP quite a bit. Maybe not quite as potent hit for hit, but damn, it's pretty darn nice. And it smells like Grape Candy. Very nice strain with fantastic PM resistance (trust me, I know the hard way, only plant in my room that didn't get hit with it).

I've mostly been smoking bottom buds so perhaps I shouldn't say it's not as potent. I have some nice lookin main colas. I'll toss some pics up another time if anyone is interested.

Good stuff Bigby--Its been awhile and I thought I would drop in and revisit this thread. SP is definitely one of the best if not the very best smoke we've ever enjoyed.
I used Attitude for my next round of seeds to check out some of the millions of strains there, but I still consider Sannie to be the best provider of genetics around.
I have a small Shakzilla at 9 weeks flowering and it suddenly almost overnight crystallized into another thing of absolute beauty. I too have issues with bud rot since my growroom is in my 100 year old city basement, and now that I think about it, I maybe better pull her soon. Shes only about two feet tall but she has 2 softball sized tops on what became only a 3 cola plant. I'm hindered by a lack of height since my total space from floor to ceiling is only 6 feet high.
The yields I see your getting are 3 times what I pull in.
Good stuff bro-

Nice post. Thanks dude. I think I only pulled that amount from Big Bushy as she had so long to develop a root mass, plus she's a good pheno, but you can't really go wrong with 14 weeks veg. I'm hoping to average out at 4oz a plant from 4 plants each flowering run now - should be achievable.

For sure dude, share away. That's one interesting sounding strain. I like the sound of their banana og too (well, more the smell and taste lol).

...The answers probably here somewhere but how big are your pots? I only use 3 gallon to try to get the most plants in my space. Since I started two years ago I've been using 3 gallon pots under twin 400 watt lights. Sometimes I'll hang a couple CFL's in strategic places now and then. I'd like to switch to 600's but I really battle heat as it is this time of year.

Sorry for the late reply. They were in 20 litre (5.2 US Gallon) containers. Switched to them this grow.

I'm just at the stage of year where temps have caused problematic environmental conditions for me the last couple of years. I can always keep temps sort of ok even the hottest days, but high day and low night temps equals humidity spikes for me. Time to break out the dehumidifier.

I just weighed up the kolossus - 125g, that's 4.46oz.

I have a fair bit of experience growing this strain in 11 litre containers - 15+ plants. My average in the smaller pots was about 3oz. So the extra 9 litre capacity equalled just over an extra ounce.

It's not the best pheno though. I truly can't place the smell - kind of like an outdoor Holland's Hope my Dad grew (which again had an indescribable smell), slightly chemical but not fuel or solvent, maybe a chemical floral if that makes sense. It's not the chronic pheno I really love that's for sure. I will report back on the smell and effects when it's had a chance to cure and the opinions of others can be obtained.

Pretty close to what I called my Kolossus pre-taster bud yesterday: floral but sweaty (we refer to the skunky smell as sweaty, if that makes sense :)).

PS. Just heard from someone who got it from 'knutsel' (works with Sannie) that the SP will be available again in 9 weeks. Since I just started my new round, it looks like it will be in time for my next round. :D

Just got a report on the Big Bushy pheno from my mates missus. Her comment was "that's better than anything we've smoked in Amsterdam the last three times we've been over there" - I believe that will do me. :-D

I weighed Stinky Girl as I put her in jars last night. The buds were crispy on the outside but there was not an audible snap from the stems. What I like to think of as the pre cure dry stage (a stage most UK commercial dealers never seem to get past). After 12 hours in the jars the moisture had evenly spread throughout the buds - definitely more moist than is proper but commercially acceptable in the UK. Result = 105.5 Grams (that's just about 3.75oz) - no loss from that after the 12 hours in jars either.

After a full day out drying on a plate the buds are crisp on the outside again, still no 'snap' from the branches but I would happily buy this and not feel like it was too moist. Weighed it again just for an idea of weight loss through curing. Total weight = 101.9 Grams. Central cola dry weight = 25.4 Grams.

Couple of pics as before I put them back in the jars. That's a 12inch vinyl they're sat on;
