let me hear your twisted "interpretations" to justify those verses.

Legion. The "many". Thoughts, then words, live a life of their own. Most (if not all) of the killing you read about in the bible is about killing negatively affecting aspects or patterns of behavior.

Ahhhh....interpretation. The good old stand-by to justify the atrocities contained within the bible.

Well, I don't see any book as infallible. It's too easy to slant something. But, my own interpretation of it tells me not to kill people, for example. Bible 1, Killing people 0.

I am SO glad you believe in the bible. For me, I don't need a magic book to tell me that killing is wrong, but I am always happy to know that the bible is around to tell people not to kill when they can't figure it out for themselves.

So is the Devil under Gods command because I'm not sure that anyone would choose to sit in hell and watch torture for infinity

...yeah, I was waiting for that.

No one needs anything. You're right about that. But, for some, the bible is like music - a place 'to go'. Who really fckn cares where people get their inspiration from? If a blue and pink polka dot pterodactyl inspires you then so be it.

do you beleive god can be tempted by evil?
...hey, I really like this question! I believe that we are 'like' god but can be tempted - resulting in the sht we see around us. 'God' itself is what we call 'good' and cannot be tempted I'd say. It's like saying that iron could feel tempted to be a bagel - for lack of a better expression.
