Green crack is a hybrid that is actually more indica than sativa. It's like 70% indica to 30% sativa.
Yeah, I knows it. I only was been ironical...
It is like (or even more indica than) a Crítical+ or a Green Poison...

Question, probably dumb, but here goes. Has anyone ever popped any mexi brick schwag beans? I have a few saved from days of old that came from some "great high" schwag. Was definitely sativa. Are there some ancient sativa genetics in mexi brick? My apologies to the op for the off topic question.

I would talk to @whitebb2727 , I'm pretty sure he pops a bit of the mexi sats.

If you want old school Sativa genetics, though most are hybrids.

You need to look into Swami Organic Seeds. They have genetics going back to 1971.

They have the ORIGINAL 1979 IBL Cherry Bomb/Maui Wowie from Mr Greengenes. Only 2 People have these original genetics other than Mr Greengenes, who invented the strain.

All others are either crosses, or fakes. Verdant Green is the only other VERIFIED HOLDER x Mr Greengenes CB/MW.

This Swami is also NOT to be confused with the guy that dresses like a Swami.

Swami got their genetics from BOEL, who also supplied DJ Short with is genetics to make Blueberry, Juicy Fruit, and some others. BOEL are also the originators of Orange Sunshine in 1969, and also known as the Hippie Mafia in the 60s-early 70s. They have a LONG Story. Were also close to Jimi Hendrix, Tim Leary, Abbie Hoffman, Hells Angels, Stanley Ousley, Grateful Dead, Hog Farm, Weather Underground.
BOEL Paid Weather Underground $25,000 to smuggle Leary to Turkey when he got busted.

They had some 1976 Peace Corp Highland Guerrero for sale a while back but were limited release, and sold out.
They have Vietnamese, Nepali, 76 Peace Corp Panama Red, Thai hybrids.

This IS the real stuff. Most will go 80+ days. Some much longer. Indica dom will go less.

Look into.... The ONE x 85 RKS/Uruapan.... 80-100 days.

I grew long flowering haze strains that stretched for 7 weeks and took 16 weeks.
The 16 weeks may have been longer than needed. I messed up and it wasn't a great grow. Plenty of mistakes.

Maybe the stretch is a good indicator of how long they will take.
Tops were bent and they had 6' tall side branches.

8' ceiling and the lights are at max height.
I messed up and grew them in 3 gallon pots lol.
Yield was 7.5 oz per plant unfortunately quality was lacking as I made a lot of mistakes.
Going to grow a couple in 7 gallon pots this time in a perpetual I recently started along side of my 9-11 week strains.

This is from that grow.

Je, je. yeah, I read it :
"A skunk crossed with a California Indica to obtain a Sativa with 20% THC, 0% CBD n O% CBN"...
Dont need any more coments, je... (Anyway I knows you prefer to read n repeat legends than know evidencies, je).
It is easier to comprehend when people actually type english and not hooked on phonics.

There are quite a few landrace seeds out there for Sativa. But you better have time. The real ones are 16 to 20 weeks of flower plus your veg. Half a year in a grow. Is it that much better than a 90-10 or 80-20 hybrid that takes 12 weeks?

Sure. Grow those Mexican brick seeds out. It will ways be better than what you saved the seeds from if treated with care.

I've saved quit a few brick seeds over the years and grown quite a few out. Fire to be found for sure.

I don't know about ancient genetics but it will be landrace. It varies what region the genetics come from. If you liked the smoke you saved the seeds from then it will be worth growing then out.

Are the 16-20 weeks strains worth it? Depends. If growing for money then no. If growing for personal stash then I think so. I love those long flowering sativas. The high is more complex and uplifting to me.

I grow them outdoors though as it's a pain to grow indoors. If growing them indoors start 12/12 from seed and go to 10/14 when the stretch starts.

I love a Sativa but I don't like the indoor timelines. I used to grow them outside but have moved and just don't have the finishing time before mould becomes an huge issue.
Heres a 6 plus ft one finishing up a few years ago. Its an Aussie Blue (Not the Aussie blue available from seed banks.) Its a mix of Thai, Vietnamese and Cambodian. High hermie rates due to the Thai. Smoke is unbelievable good.

Seems like so many growers avoid them due to their length that one might be able to service a niche area not many are targeting.

As a consumer who loves sativa, I'd pay a premium to get good quality strains like that!

I'm sure it's possible. It's just hard to grow them indoors. It cost twice as much to grow them and they yield less, while taking twice as long to grow. Less crops per year.

I live in an illegal area. There's not much choice to begin with. It's why I grow my own.

Long flowering sativas make a good candidate for green houses.

I have some Old Timers Haze seeds from ACE seeds that I plan on playing with to make some crosses. It goes up to 24 weeks with a low yield. " it is probably a hybrid of different sativas from Mexico, Southern India, Colombia and Thailand"

https://www.aceseeds.org/en/strains/pure-stabilized/oldtimershazestd.html

https://en.seedfinder.eu/strain-info/Oldtimers_Haze/ACE_Seeds/

ACE has a good selection of sativa's https://www.aceseeds.org/en/strains/pure-stabilized.html?ratio_desp=58
I like ace seeds. I got a few packs of various stuff from them about a year or so ago. They were marked down to around five bucks a pack.

I am looking for the speediest-euphoric sativa I can find, or hybrid. I am smoking super silver haze right now and enjoy it thouroughly. Any suggestion any suggestions are appreciated.
Too me "speedy" n "euphoric" are two diferent kinds of "highs"; I understand that you wants the two together (?)... In this case, n of course only talking about my experience, I will chose " Durban Punch" ( Durban Poison'70 X SouthAfrican Ciskei Highlands) by Tropical Seeds Co, or the green/golden geno of Panamá (but it is more speedy than euphoric) (Cannabiogen & A.C.E.).The green geno of Flo (DjShort) is efouric too, but lest speedy n with same indica influence.
Now Im growin Full Energy (Old Afghan Narrow X OldTimers Haze) n Extreme Haze (NL5/Haze, Haze geno X OldTimers Haze, green geno), both by Tropical Seeds, that have the fame of this kind of High, but I still havent smoked any...
