Save her life! Help!

My plant is about 2 weeks. Its growth has stopped right about when its leaves started to burn on edges and twist and curl. Now, the leaves are black halfway, and are so crisp they almost snap themselves off. Now, they're soft, flimsy, and have seemed to reveal green or golden-yellow again. Ive transfered them to neutral pH jiffy soil, water well. In an emergency, I added a tiny amount of spray nute (with very small amount of nutes). What does this mean if nothing seems to be working? The plant, where it isnt infected or hurt- are lushious and green and vibrant.

Shes just a bit smaller than this:

whats wrong? light schedule is 18/6, as always under a not-hot CFL

Well it sounds like they were nute burned, and it sounds like you'll probably nute burn them again. Don't spray any ferts on them, just pure water. They're too young for ferts right now and it will probably only make the problem worse. There should be enough nutes in the soil to keep them going for at least 3 weeks. Just let them be and they'll recover.

I was, because I live in the desert and air is naturally dry. But I heard this magnifies light intensity at various spots, so now I foliage feed it once in a while instead of misting it entirely
that is the case, mist only during lights of if there is still time left for them to dry up. misting can also kill you HPS/MH bulbs if drops hit 'em if on, i did that with mine once, not pleasant at all to stand in a rain of hot frags.:spew:

no nutes thru the first few weeks, normally soil is more then efficient for the first 4 weeks. before that nutes are only needed in grows with rockwool as medium. and the first dose has to be not more then1/4 strength!

Ok sounds goods orry im baked right now

um

oik

well this morning i read the forum and saw what you said- so i dumped the water in the hydro (that i doused with nutes) and put in fresh bottled water with no nutes. so, we'll see how they turn...

ps- so is it possible the leaves that are all yellow or twisted now come back to life? or will they be lost and i have to wait for a new set to begin again

I've never seen yellow leaves come back, but don't worry about that. The plant itself will be fine and will produce new leaves eventually.

Also, do not cut the yellow leaves off. They're still producing food for the plant, just not as much as they should be. Cutting them off will only create wounds on your plant that you don't need right now.

Do you ph your water? No nutes until 3 weeks old. Do you have a fan on the plant? What is the temp of your grow area?

When I measure- pH is always neutral. When I wa spanicking and lightly adding nutes, it turned acidic, but just this morning I washed all that out and put in plain water. There is no fan except the room fan and a window open. Air circulates, but not like a wind or breeze or gust on the plant. Temperature is room temperature from 75-83.

When you say the ph is neutral does that mean you ph test? What is the exact reading? You need a fan blowing on those plants.
