Any tips on picking good/bad places? Other then obvious like not in the church parking lot.

Anyone used google earth to help pick spots?

Yeah. its not up to date for security reasons, and I have found some 'blacked out' areas. but damn cool. I also try to scout as I fly in back home too. (using the FAA/Government to my advantage :) )

I always use google earth
then go to the spot for my self and check it out
I mostly look for a place where its away from people but in a nice open area with lots of sun

what looks good on GE does often turn out bad when inspecting it IRL later

be sure to have more spots in the early stages than i actually need.

i had one spot in forest this year and it wasnt found on GE but i saw this nice fenced in area that just had my name on it

they fence in some areas here to protect young tress from deers, well they also protect my canna from the deers.

but i still think its too much work in the forest cause they the soil is shit and u have to dig a hole and bring in own soil

guerrilla farming in corn fields with early strains is a lot less work and very rewarding.
soil is nice and loose and farmers have already fertilized it
it also hides your grow way better than in any forest

if i where to use forest spots in the future it would only be if i needed a seed grow on a strain too late to finish in corn

Thanks for the posts. Keep 'em coming.

Corn fields bother me a bit. I feel its more like stealing and overt. But maybe some plain/general open fields and lowryders might work. Scatter a bunch O' plants around. iPhone's GPS will help relocating.

Now that winter is setting in, th landscape changes a bit. One can see more. Might be a good time to dig the holes ahead of time, and pre-condition them?

Corn fields are a waste of time around here, thats old news for the cops. they fly the fields all the time, even with the news on board. I stay in the woods.

Just use common sense when choosing on when and where to grow. The main concern should be who else you have told about your little garden plans. The best grow areas for me have been in wooded areas here in the Southeastern parts of the US with pine trees, oak trees, and etc. I only grow ONE plant per spot. It's harder to spot just one plant. Growing in groups will make them stick out far greater. Just remember to keep your li'l guerilla grow under radar. One man operation. 100% profit.

I plan on attempting a guerilla grow come spring. I'm a little worried about finding a proper spot and havent decided if I'm just going to let it grow organically or if I'm going to make trips out to fertalize it. I kind of just wanted to let mother nature take care of it and just check on them a handfull of times. What do you guys think?

Fox farms has a timed released nute. But thats my plan, kinda plant and grow. Come back once in a blue moon. I know thats not the preferred method.

BigBud, LOVE THE AVATAR !

I just got into TPB and have not regretted looking up all episodes.

Back to the question at hand. I was lucky enough to scout some spots out this past fall and found a perfect site.

The sucker is surrounded by pricker bushes in the summer, only accessible in the spring and fall (planting and harvesting). In the middle of the bushes is a little 15 X 15 field

I am also doing an indoor grow this winter but figure in the spring I will throw a couple plants out there to hope for in the fall (but not counting on it).

All stoners should know
The Trailer Park Boys

(think of it as The Office done in a trailer park, a mockumentry)

I loved when they blurred out the face to hide the identity of a cat.

My friend explained it as a raunchy "My name is Earl" set in canada.

-The Swazye Train

-the crow making a nest out of Rickie's buds

-"the dirty burger"

oh god I am going to have to go watch an episode or two now.....

The xmas special. Ricky bitching about being bailed out of jail and selling weed at church. I was laughing my ass off on a plane watching that.

I'm planning out a grow spot in the woods near my house, but not on my property. I live in a heavily wooded area. I found a spot on google earth that I will be checking out IRL soon. My main concern is that it maybe a little to close to my neighbors house. It is a little more than 215 yards of woods separating his yard from the grow spot. What do you guys think?
