Scrog Help Please..

Hi,

Wondering how I am supposed to get light to the bottom half of this scrog. There are so many fan leaves everywhere blocking so much light. As you can see there is a fair amount of plant in the shade..

3rd week flower and 600w hps on super lumens setting..

Do I cut all the top fan leaves off?.. Or will the top fan leaves provide enough photosynthesis for the bottom half?

Cheers

Maybe I'm wrong but I thought you were supposed to cut out all that lower growth. I've only tried SCROG once and did a lousy job of it, so I'd to see what the experts recommend.

I cut off absolutely everything below the screen when I flipped.. Everything you see in the pics is above the screen.. And yeah maybe I'm supposed to trim off all the stuff above the screen in the shade as well

Everything below the net was removed when I flipped.. I am talking about the lower stuff above the net that is in the shade getting no light, trying to see how other people get light to the lower half when all the top fan leaves are blocking the light..

Got my yoyos ready to go cheers

Hello hi. I'm no expert but that looks like a poorly executed scrog to me. To my knowledge you're supposed to tie down and space out the branches 2 weeks into flowering; and then let her do her thing. Your screen may be a little too low. What strain are you running? :D

OK thanks,

Yes I kept pulling each top into the next hole for a full 2 weeks.. this last week (week 3) tops grew up into the light.

oh, ok. I don't know where I read this but sativas grow up to 3-4 times their size when switched into flowering. So that might be the problem right there.

Yeah I read that too.. Its not really a problem per say.. There are still heaps of nodes down there in the shade, just no light getting down there.. Maybe I need 1000w for more penetration haha
