Scrog noob q

hey guys, a question for you scrog growers,

can anyone provide any tips for how to train the plants to the screen?
maybe pics?

and also when do you start to train the plants to the screen? In veg im sure, but when? and how does the plant's growth change in scrog when flowering is forced?

they say a plant can triple in height when flowering, do the plants direct themselves in the proper position automatically? or do they get out of control when flowering is forced??

Place your Screen 12 inches from the grow medium, when your plant reaches the screen you begin to train it along instead of letting it grow up. You may have to wait to install the screen until just before the plant is 10" tall so you can manipulate light effectively. You don't tie your ScrOG at a certain time as much as you tie when the plant reaches height and size appropriate to do so.

just whenever the tips are a couple inches above the screen tuck them back under the screen try and have a node in every hole and you can put the screen as low as 8in if you want

what he said! all you need is enough room to take care of business, trim, train and feed depending on how you're growing. if you're wanting to increase your yield, then you're on the right track.

awesome! thanks guys! i have a 400 watt MH light. and all my plants in DWC bubbler system. I have a 4x3 grow cab with 8 plants. I figure i can scrog the hell out of em and get a nice yield. What do u think about the size of the room and such?

Also i'm having major problems with taking my clones!!! I'm taking them in rockwool and they just dont seem to take to the gel! I'm also not sure of the technique in taking the clones! like where, and how and etc!!

any help would definately save me some time and effort!! thanks alot guys!
