Scrog overkill

Having a bit of a hard time with nutes, it's so much hungrier then the other plants in the room that even with double nutes, extra granular scratched into dirt and with folier feeding, it's still yellowing and shedding leaves. Not in a problematic way mind you ( I think) but about 10/day get plucked from being pure yellow while my other girls are all dark green. If anyone has a pointer of what I can feed it as a folier spray to help a plant around week 3 flower with general plant lushness. The buds are fine and the leaves are 95% healthy, I just feel it wants more then the roots can support

As for things already out there, could definitely take a peek at some sort of a sea tea as foliar, made from bull kelp.. There's also plenty of recipes floating around (should you wish to mix your own) that will give you a lower shot of NPK to supplement that also packs quite a few of the trace, which will help with stasis in some fashion in terms of potentially overdoing one and locking another out. If you need help with the mix math-wise or want recommendations, by all means feel free to ask and myself or someone else would be glad to help you. :)

I tend to think of kelp as a huge plant growth simulator more so then a nutrient, but I'm betting I just have a brand higher in hormones an lower on npk... I will look into the other options I have next trip to the store. The one I use actually says double feeding must be used at the same time due to rapid growth and higher plant needs after application LOL.

honestly organic growth is more "beast mode" then Chem shit half the time lol

-edit if you have a specific brand(s) I think I have every option where I live. Like 5 hydro stores in town. If not ill prolly just look for something resembling a veg ratio since I'm already hammering it with flower ferts that are low on N

Most of the things I'd recommend for a foliar don't go much higher than a 2-3-2 or close to it given that it's direct contact and could fry leaves quickly w/nute burn.. that said, nothing really stands out that I would personally put my name to in the way of an endorsement.. but have read much about the seaweed/kelp mixes and those on the forum using them to say it seems like a solid method, especially for light mods with a foliar.

tomorrow will be week 3 of 12/12 (day 20 flower pictures) using a lighter for scale, its beside the top left bamboo pole in the overview shot.

decided to toss in a bit of under lighting to see if i can get those lower nugs to pump up as much as the top and to maybe get the top a bit bigger too. its a 600 watt (true watts) led panel. I would compare its effectiveness to about a 1000 watt lamp that doesent make heat but its hard to judge and its damaged so if its touched you get a mild tingle so i dont use it often. takes cool pictures though =)

If the slight tingle is the only thing wrong with it, pop the case on it and verify the screws are tight to ensure tight ground from board to frame, and that the ground is properly done and not loose/jiggled free in some fashion. Will make it much easier to deal with, and a ton less likely for it to spike and electocute you. Schematic is more than likely available online somewhere or is on the inside of the light.

Looking great man she sure has bulked up alot! That LED does look bright as hell, I'm sure that will help the bottom half out!

I had hoped that would be the case myself and bought a volt meter and opened it up about 6 months ago. What I saw inside made me sad. Loose screws would have been good to see but instead I found 1 or 2 screws just floating around in there (sloppy china manufacturing) and random appoxy over random bits of it. Basically I tightened what I could, fixed some kinked wires, moved ad tied down others so I could reclose it and sealed it up a more frustrated man then before I took it apart. It works ok, I'm just not happy about it.

Understood, shock on the outside as I'm sure you know is a weak/loose/missing ground, or hot going to the frame in some fashion (which could be fire-worthy, depending on which side of the bridge it's on) I will assume it's not pre-bridge, or you would have seen at least the magical purple smoke out of it already (blown caps, bare minimum)

I believe it's a faulty ground, and a hazerd, I dusted it off or fun and will prolly shelf it in a week or 2 depending on how things GrOw

The led seems to be working great and I'm happy with how it's making my room look. I don't know much it's adding so far as weight, I assume a lot dice they are rocks at week 5. the pink light is pretty bright, when the hps flips off every plant in the room seems to glow pink :). I try to rotate the plant every few days so that no part of the plant sits in a less lite up area (formerly the corner) but now I have to wonder if the corner is the brightest, most productive zone...

I am a bit surprised that the buds in the middle of the screen are not bigger, right now they are about 4 inches tall but the nugs that escaped the screen are all about a foot tall. I really hope the middle gains some height I assumed they would be the biggest an best since the light is so intense in the middle more so then the edges.

its been a while so its a good time to post the progress. i think this is about day 46 so its getting tempting, took a nug from a few plants to check the tric's, heres some macros

Thanks a bunch guys! It's been a interesting run so far and it's so stinky it can be smelled from the road! I even have a 8"x48" phreshfilter in the room but its not doing its job so well anymore lol, can't wait to trim em up an find the yield. I was hoping for 2 lbs from the nl but now after seeing it I'm guessing about a lb. I had thought the colas would get much taller.

If you can smell it from the road with an 8" x 48" .. you may want to consider additional help of ONA buckets... lol

I thought of Ona gel an less affective then carbon filters but I don't actually know. I am legal so I don't feel any pressure to fix the issue other then the possibility of people trying to help me harvest when I'm not home lol! I really want to buy a carbon filter for the living room to help filter the smoke, I think that could be half the issue. I just don't want to dish out another 300 bucks.
