Searching for Pineapple

You can find tropical/pineapple phenotypes of Malawi and Golden Tiger(malawi phenos) from Ace seeds.

Pure sativas that need 13-15 weeks to flower at a 11/13 light cycle, high yield potential and long lasting effects, non-narcotic, more like amphetamines that last for hours and hours.

Holy shit, thanks for the tip! Is there a place with more comprehensive info about these types of genetics?

You could get some C99 beans and look for the pineapple pheno in those. Has the type of high you’re describing.
Thats something I'll keep in mind for the long term. Right now I don't have a sustainable way of keeping mothers. I've been doing this less than a year solo and I'm still trying all the different phenos I can get my hands on.

Icmag has an extensive library in their Ace seeds section. The malawi and Golden Tiger both have threads with hundreds of posts.

Landraces like malawi are in a category of their own, once you try the "killer" pheno, not much else can compare. A C99 takes much less time to flower, much easier to manage in veg too and doesn't suffer from the 4-5× stretch like malawi or golden tiger, but it doesn't have the advantage in yield, or duration of effect,

I still don't understand what a landrace is, but everything else you said sounds like straight up sexual chocolate

A variety that over multiple generations, and through selection has traits distinctive to a region/area. Tropical sativas tend to come from distinct regions with little genetic variation, and are suited to that environment(loose floral clusters to combat mold). The environment they are used to is likely not able to be perfectly replicated indoors, but you can come close.

Most of what you grow is a hybrid of some sort and not an inbred variety like most "landraces".

Certain light cycles will make the tropical sativas behave more like they are in their "preferred" environment, or their usual region of origin. Equatorial varieties spend months at a time with light cycles lower than 12/12, and you can speed up their flowering times by reducing light cycles to 10/14 or 11/13. Some believe this even impacts the terpenes/cannabanoids the plant produces.

There's a lot of them actually. Just search landrace strains.

I've had a Durban Poison cut once that I ditched to make room in the closet. I regret it because she was a beauty. But I'm gonna get it next time I see one. That was a cut that people smuggled back from Durban.
No, I mean examples of me talking shit

Edit: I appreciate the info

No, I've just seen you giving people a hard time. No worries though man. I talk my fair share of shit too, but I try to be nicer to the newbies.
Ive talked exactly one shit on this website and it was on that 4x4 autoflower thread where the OP said he needed the info ASAP but he didnt feel like using the search function, and it wasnt my first response.

My initial response was asking the usual "medium, lights, etc" followed by a comment about this stuff being an art and a science, and if he is going to be lazy this might not be for him.

I have no problem with stupid questions, ive asked my fair share, but being a cunt about it rubs me the wrong way. I believe the words we use, and the way we use them, matter. I am a please and thank you kind of guy, I expect the same out of others, and I have no problem expressing that.

He got shitty about it and made an offhand comment about not coming back, and then I talked my shit.

I would love to hear the story of how that plant was smuggled out of Durban. Thats the dangerous side of this hobby I love, as opposed to the part where otherwise innocent people end up spending far too long in prison for doing what they love.

You weren't too bad in that thread at all. I have a problem with lazy too. Maybe I'm confusing you with someone else. In my defense I am a stoner. Sorry if I mispoke.

No problem man. The internet can be a very hostile place. RIU is one of the most friendly communities around and thats what I love about it. The fact we could settle this civilly is proof of that.

Why not try trichome jungle seeds.

A guy over here found a phenotype thats called lilt(pineapple and grapefruit drink)

The pineapple terps are ment to be strong on this clone, the guy passed the clone back to the breeder and he made lilt s1's
