:hump:Picked up four clones today from the dispensary. They are under a single T-5 right now and I will put another one in during the following days. This is my second grow and right now my first one is currently in a grow tent flowering under a 1000 watt light at 75 percent though on the ballast. The temp was too hot in the room before and electricity bill was a bitch. I am planning on vegging these out for a month and putting them in with the current ones which are at 3 weeks of flowering almost. I planned on starting earlier but just didn't get around to it until now. I had never heard of pepper ak before so I picked it up and the sample they showed me was seriously one of the best nugs i've ever seen before, though it was a sample and they only show the best. Here are the plants I will be checking in every couple days. IMG_1959.jpgIMG_1958.jpgIMG_1957.jpgIMG_1956.jpgIMG_1963.jpgIMG_1962.jpgIMG_1961.jpgIMG_1960.jpg

When I transplanted today I only put ph 5.5 in the soil and no nutrients. Some lady at the hydro store I go to told me 5.5 is best for clones and work the way up to 6.8 eventually. Please always feel free to correct everything you see wrong. When I fertilize it will be with Medione 4-3-3. It's supposed to be a all cycle organic fertilizer but I decided to switch to fox farms and tiger bloom for flowering after nitrogen burn. I will also be using b-51 throughout the whole veg process. I read on the site it stops stretching when you use it in the first couple of weeks of flowering but I liked seeing growth so I decided not to do it on my first grow once I initiated 12/12. I ph my water with a hanna ec/ph/ppm I picked up when I thought I was set on hydro. Expensive but a lot easier than trying to find the color in the murkey water, plus it lets me keep track of my ppm so I know where i'm at always. I use water out of the tap and don't let it sit or chemically treat it but it has worked alright so far.image(4).jpgimage(3).jpgimage(2).jpgIMG_1954.jpgthe last pic is my first and current grow also, 5 confidential cheese under a thousand watt light. I also had a question to everyone out there, I know now, after failing my first 3 weeks of growing, that fertalizers are supposed to be switched off every other watering to stop nutrient lockout. But for my flowering plants I have a couple of different advanced nutrient solutions like big bud, x factor, bud candy, and overdrive, and I don't know weather those are for every time, or every other time as well.

One more question, since my pots are small and theres space in the flowering room when the lights are on at least, should I throw these little girls in with the hps? or would it be too much stretching? unless I found a way to get it a little closer to the light?

fertalized the plants today. I had the soil moist yesterday when I transplanted but wanted to fertilize with the 433, b52, and some calmag. Ph was at 6.1 and the ppm was 700. Dunno if that's high for new clones but they seem to be fine. I like to water around the edge of the pots, which as of now are 5 inch net pots. I'm keeping the t5 pretty close but no where near touching. Any thoughts as to how much a yield might be if these veg for a month and then flower under a thousand watt? Anyways, here's some pics again. image(4).jpgimage(5).jpgimage(3).jpgimage(2).jpgimage(6).jpgthis last pic is my little clones view of the flowering room when it's open.

gonna put in the other t5 light today. Still don't know weather it's good to stick them under the 1000 watt while it's on.

watered the flowering batch yesterday, 1400 ppm and ph 6.2 or 6.3. They are really starting to crystal up and look way to nice. I can't wait for the bud's to really fill out on those. And for that pepper ak now. That will take a minnute though.

one of the urkle are drooping really badly and yellowing in the tip of the leaf. I'm sad, i'll have pics up tmrw, i watered with regular water cuz i thoug t it might be over fert and it's regained some leaf width. hopefully it'll be better by the morning. still haven't put the new light up. Definite visible growth in the other clones.

The ph pen. I have the same one. I can't figure out how to calibrate it. Do u know how to? I know you hold the mode button till it says 'cal'. submerge it in 7.01 solution, then when it says 4.01 submerge in the 4.01 solution. When its fiished I keep it in the 4.01 solution, then it drops to like 3.84 when it should read 4.01. Fuckin expensive piece of shit

the place where i got it was a local hydro store, they said a one year warranty for the pen, and a six months for a part that does everything actually. Mine was calabrated but I have no idea what's hapenning to yours. maybe wash it inbetween soloutions but honestley that still shouldn't be hapenning.

well got some pics today. The purple urk that was dieing seemed to do well after i gave it some regular ph'd water. no pics of what it was like, but it was bad, just the burnt it has now after semi recovering. Also got some pics of my confidential cheese flowering a day or two away from 4 weeks through flowering. Looking great can't wait to see what I get from it. Supposed to be an 8 week strain so half way through flowering whoopie.
image-2.jpgimage-2.jpgimage-3.jpgimage-4.jpgimage-5.jpgimage-6.jpgimage-7.jpgimage-8.jpg cant wait to see how the pepper ak47 turns out gonna be pretty boss i hope. I don't know where the pics of the other two purple urkle's went but they seemed to dissappear. next week i guess, they have a tiny bit of yellowing in the leaf tip but no where near this dieing one has.

transplanted today to 3 gallon pots. I did kinda bad though because I forgot to water them over easter cuz I was at my familys. Stupid me. I put the fert in the water I used to wet the soil because I hadn't fetalized since the first time and some of the leaves were showing deficiency. The ph was about 6.4 and damn i just remembered i forgot to check the ec. Loaded... well i'll get some pics up tomorrow, the one that was doing bad looks better, and a new one is looking terrible... hopefully it'll purk up by the morning. The pepper ak47 is still rocking. also one of the root systems got hurt during the transplant. Probably because stupid me used a net pot and the roots on the bottom were sticking out. it didn't take off to much so i have hopes. I will be throwing these girls into the flowering room in about a week as long as they are all looking great.

oh and one more horrible piece of news i learned. If you are using a thousand watt light with a dimmable ballast even when you dim it you end up paying full price for electricity. I have to get my temp down in my tent so I can run it back at 100 percent again.

These are the pics. First one should be my current confidential cheese, about a week from harvest. Then the pepper ak i put into the flowering room probably a week ago now, starting to bud at some of the nodes, that's just the top one. The other three are the purple urkles which i just put into flowering two days ago, the pictures are from that day which I put the in. The urkles are perking up after me forgetting to water them the other week.

these pics are taken about 2 or three days ago. The initial crop is looking pretty close to harvest, a couple of white hairs left, but my microscope is in the mail so i don't know exactaly when to harvest yet. i think i might wait a couple of days and if they are looking ready, i'll pull the top nugs out to give more time and light to the bottom branches where most the white hairs are.
