Thank you for following along on my grow thread. This is my second grow, my first was of 4 Easy Ryder AF and I'm looking forward to trying out 8 non-AF plants this time around.

Here is the line up of what I will be growing this time around:

5 x Master Kush Feminized (nirvana)
1 x Pineapple Express (G13 Labs)
1 x Dinafem Power Kush
1 x Dinafem Moby Dick

The three last ones were freebies from my last grow.

I will be growing indoors in soil again. I mixed up the soil a little bit this time, but will be growing 8 (hopefully) in a 48 x 24 x 36" tent.

Attached is a pic of day 1. Just put all seeds into labeled cups and took an inventory of my supplies.

Please leave me any comments or suggestion at this thread:

so i've seen various thread's where you say you're starting a Pineapple Express grow. and none of them were updated. This seems to be the most recent one. So, have you grown this Pineapple Express and do you have a grow journal for it? I want to view a grow journal for Pineapple Express - but I can't find any on rollitup. Do you know of any ACTUAL grow journals for Pineapple Express from G13 Labs?

Thanks for the help and good luck on the grow brotha!

Good to have ya!

This is my first grow with the Pineapple Express (it was a single freebie seed from Attitude). I, too, haven't seen any yet as I think this is a pretty new strain.

Today marks day 7 since the seeds were planted in the soil. I germinated them the natural way by merely planting them directly in the soil. I am not a fan of the paper towel method, and this update shows why.

At 7 days, they have made great progress and are growing quickly. 7 of the 8 sprouted and I'm pretty happy with that number:

4 x Master Kush (Nirvana Seeds)
1 x Pineapple Express (G13 labs)
1 x Moby Dick (Dinafem)
1 x PowerKush (Dinafem)

Really? I thought the growth was pretty decent, and they've picked up since. They are under 400w MH.

I'm at 14 days from seed, these are pics of mine at Day 14. This is White Rhino and it's a slow grower compared to what you are growing. I just took 10 clones today from my plants on Day 15.

Mine are also tied down already.

I'm using a 400w HPS

You may want to transplant to larger pots, I find they grow faster if you transplant to your final container's as soon as possible.

The smaller plants you see are Snow White's and they are 3 days old.

I'm still vegging. They haven't been looking the greatest lately, and I think is due to overwatering due to the extreme density of this soil. Is there a way to add drainage to soil mid-grow?

The back right plant in these pictures is G13's Pineapple Express. It is the tallest at the moment, but also experiencing some yellowing/spotting on the fan leaves that I've yet to figure out.

Here are the pics!

Quit watering them so much for starters, let that soil dry out.....is better to underwater a bit than to overwater. All of the plants there are experiencing problems from overwatering, you can tell by the way the leaves are drooping. They're saying please, no more water or I'm gonna start rotting down there.......the other problems you see have probably all manifested from the medium being too wet, when it is too wet and not enough oxygen....will not take up nutrients.

Have you fed them at all ?

What pH are you running, and what is the pH of the runoff when you water ?

I would start by laying off the watering a bit, and watch your pH when you do water or feed. Don't look at damaged leaves to get better, look at the newest growth.....this will tell you if what you are doing is working or not.

Plants are not all that bad, just need to let them grow on their own a little.

Only way to loosen medium now would be to up - pot again, mix perlite in......kind of something that has to be done before hand, can't go swishing the roots all around.

Here are my plants, now 38 days from seed.......see how the leaves stand up trying catch all the light they can, those are happy ladies.....that's what you're looking for.

I have increased the air circulation within the tent since and I'm hoping that will help the roots dry out a bit faster. I was waiting 7-8 days before watering previously, and they have been fed now 2 times with Fox Farm's Grow Big and Big Bloom. My soil PH meter is reading 6.5, I always PH the water at 6.5 prior to watering/feeding.

Thank you for all of your advice, your plants sure do look healthy!

I will keep you all posted. I don't truly expect much (it was a freebie seed and I've heard mixed reviews on G13 labs). Plus I hated that movie!
