Trump promised a vaccine, I thought it was a joke based on his timeline and he delivered. Well Phizer, Moderna, and Johnson&Johnson delivered.

Funny how all his supporters refuse to take what he promised though...

I think you are mistaken about the facts. Trump was promising the vaccine ahead of the election. HHS head kept saying millions of doses next week....but mass distribution didn't begin until Dec. 14. Trump didn't completely shut down travel from either. No Chinese could travel here. Everyone else was coming in. He also had no distribution plan, instead leaving that up to the states and allocating to states based on the curry of sycophantic R governors, like DeSantis while threatening blue states, like Michigan. Then there was the fiasco of recalls of the vaccine, then limited ancillary supplies required to administer the vaccine.

Also, after ordering a lockdown he railed aginst his own lockdown. A French journalist said it was like watching a Mel Brooks movie. Then he famously "played it down", allowing rapid spread, railed against mandates such that the US is 2nd to last in vax rates & actually had his own supporters booing him when he said he took the vaccine that was created with $18 B in taxpayer dollars.
