Seed City - Anyone else use them??

wouldnt buy singles off them at all imho as theyre not what theyre meant to be. ordered some dna og kush off them one time, was clearly a blueberry type plant when i grew them, have had that happen few times with various different singles off them, needless to say i no longer buy from there.

Very helpful comment because i was about to pay for my order and all i got is about 10 singles in the cart

I have no doubt that seed-city is a solid company. They have too many positive reviews to be a scam. But, they are not immune to shit happening...It just so happens that when this type of shit happens, they do not feel obligated to make the customer whole...I understand their reasoning but I don't care because I am the one that is upside-down almost $300 :wall:

It's been almost 2 weeks since I sent them $50. (A small test order). So far they haven't acknowledged receiving payment.
I've ordered from numerous seed banks, paying cash, this is the first time I've had an issue. Yes, I read the reviews too. Hence the small order in case I got burned. I'll give a little bit more time. However, at this point I'm not recommending them. Too many other seed banks that are more reliable. Herbie's, gorilla, seedsman, single seed center, crop king all have served me well. I tried these guys because they had some auto strains that I hadn't seen elsewhere.
If sending cash be prepared for possible issues. Maybe they do better with other payment types.

I ordered and did a bank transfer. Took 2-3 days to show on their end. I did look into sending cash but saw that unless I sent it using a more expensive service $20+ it could take 3 months to reach them.

Just an update for anyone interested. I finally received the seeds. It took just about 6 weeks. The seeds weren't in breeders packs. Overall, I'm happy that I got the seeds. I'll be trying them out in a couple of weeks and I'll see how that goes. There have been complaints on their site about poor germination rates and claims that what was ordered was not what was received although the packaging indicated otherwise. Until I get results all I can do is rate them as a Proceed with Caution...

How'd you go? How many sprouted and where they what you ordered?

Yes, the four seeds that I started in rockwool all germinated and are growing fine. I'm doing hydro so they are actually growing quickly. These guys are alright. I had placed another order with them and after almost 40 days they said they hadn't received my payment. I emailed several polite responses and they agreed to send my order. They do have an excellent selection, low prices and generous freebies. However, both times that I've ordered the service has been slower than other seed banks that I've used. If you're in a hurry for your order you may want to look elsewhere. I don't think that they are trying to rip people off. They are legitimate, just somewhat slow in processing orders.

Well that's good to hear! I was recommended this seed bank so I thought I'd try and I purchased a few 3 packs! I'm keen as I have some cbd strains coming and wanna try them ill get a thc tester and see how much the cbd ones contain :) im just sceptical in some aspects because everywhere you can see bad reviews but to be fair you can't please everyone! As long as I get what I order ill be happy :)

I've probably grown at least 10 different cbd strains. I hope that you're happy with your results.
Some of them are:
Sweet Seeds: Sweet Nurse, Honey Peach
World of Seeds: Tonic Rhyder
Green House Seeds: Super Lemon Haze CBD
Ministry of Cannabis: CBD Star
All of these were good. However, just keep in mind that THC and CBD levels are going to vary from plant to plant. I've started growing at least 2 of each strain in order to compare them and hopefully get what I want.

Ah fair enough I wasn't aware of that I assumed they where bred to come in a certain cbd/thc range :) the ones I got are meant to only contain 0.2 thc and around 15-20% cbd, im looking at getting a thc test kit to see how much thc it has but I won't be able to get a definite result on how much cbd (tests ive found only go upto 2.5% cbd)

Yes, they are bred that way. However, there are variations as they are not clones. Also, how they are grown and harvested can influence THC and CBD production.

I live in AU, and of all the seedbanks, Seecity has consistently been the fastest shipper and I haven't lost any of the dozen+ packages from them at all. All other refutable seed banks have had big issues getting packages here, either lost or taken a long time. I ordered a package from SC on Dec 24, it was here Jan 2nd. That's insanely fast shipping from GBR to AU any time of year, let alone xmas.

The problem was solved between me and Sed City.
It was due to cleaning junk data from the affiliate system's database. Now they fixed everything.
They did not do sketchy things, but it was an accident. They are really great people and I keep buying seeds from them and will cooperate as an affiliater, too.

They sell good seeds, and I know because I have purchased from them before several times; however, I want to tell you guys that if you guys are in their affiliate program, please be aware that they do really sketchy things about payment.

I hope they can be pretty honest and pay me the missing sales.

I did a few but they straighten you out.
Smoke one between sessions and shtoom back to the ground.

Do they ship into the US no problem? They have some strains that are not available in many places, let alone all within the same seed bank. I just hate the idea of customs in between...

The reason they have seeds that others don't is because they're scammers. I have several packs of single seeds where I just bought 3 or 4 to try out a strain and now I'm gonna have to throw them away. If you don't believe me try buying a couple of seeds of a strain that you know what it's like, then grow them and realise you got some random cheap sk1 or whatever they're giving out.
