seed germinated-plant in dark/light

thanks for all the past advice now i ..have germinated seeds. planted approx 1/2 " deep in moist soil..put on plastic on top of pot....now do i leave the pot under my lights or do i put the pot in the dark until i see the first leaves thanks agin for the advice

put the pot under the lights. when it comes up, the light will be waiting.
