I never noticed this, but after I accidentally removed a small bud (week 6 flowering) and dried it for a few days I've noticed small seed-like shells in it. First thought was hermie but I have checked the room for bananas and hermies and no sign. Is this just a bud bract that is undeveloped and hard? It doesn't look like seed (bract when in full bloom explodes woth pistils, but these are not yet fully bloomed.
