Lol, and everyone bitches about the prices of DrGt seeds. If people wanna hate they'll hate. It doesn't matter what they cost. It's a free market, buy or don't buy. It's the supply and demand, if there was none they wouldn't be able to get away with the prices. It doesn't matter if they wwre 500 a pack. If you grow your plants, and are in a non med state pay for the seeds off of 1 plants yield and have the rest for personal or sale. If you clone it, now you have plants for your next grow, made your money back on your previous order and are starting with a balanced ledgar for the grow. What's there to complain about? If you don't like it, buy elsewhere, that's the point of competition. The more you buy from a large market the more it's monopolized, and the less you have to complain about, because you were what kept the engine moving.
I have no problem paying a premium for quality genetics...but sometimes the genetics don't match the advertising. I've had Iranian Indica, G13-Chemdawg and Endless Sky from Dr.Gthumb...all good but not great, and for the price charged by Dr.Gthumb they should have been stellar. Budget seeds with quality? Try Jordon of the Islands at HD.

When the seedbank gets to be reputable, I guess the next thing to do is to increase prices. If they got to make a refund or replace seeds whenever the customer does not receive them beans, that can really help jack up prices.
I am also a bargain hunter so I looked for a seedbank that can offer lower price and settled for MJ Seeds Canada. $75 for a pack of 10 seeds is not bad compared to $150 that you can get from others.
Bottomline, we buy from the seedbank that we can trust. It is for most part about the banks being trustworthy that they can deliver on their promise an provide the needed service when things go awry like dead seeds or package not coming in. Go hunt for cheaper prices and you can still find some. Just be careful getting the rip :)

Seed banks are in the business of.. Making money. Wish I owed one..
I don't like the prices either. But, willing to pay for the genetics I want.
So, I order a few beans of what I want and then FEM and cross my own seed. Bingo, no need to order for a while.

:peace:
