do seeds have to be dried, or will fresh ones germinate if you plan to use them right away?

excellent information, thanks a lot...i have recently decided to set up a room and start breeding, i have 9 white widow x alaskan thunderfuck seedlings that are a couple weeks old and im hoping to get a few males out of it but i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on which strains i should cross that with? its really good already and i would like to make it a higher yeild, i have some big foot im going to try to mix it with but id like some input to any high yeild strains you think would mix well with that....

Hey whats up fdd2blk? i have a question for you, i hope that you can help me out.
I have a very nice male pheno Swiss cheese that i want to cross with my papaya female the only trouble is they were started at the same time,and i was wondering by the time the male drops its pollen wouldnt the female be too far along into flowering to pollenate her? And if so would you recomend storing the pollen and then growing out another fem to use it on..Thanks in advance for any and all help...Peace Hers my male Swiss Cheese...

that's so cool, i didn't know you can pollinate 1 branch, i didnt even know how a plant gets pollinated in the first place.

Hey FDD, Im back and this question will come with pic's, ok i dont think i removed my male fast enough from my flowering room and im sure that a couple of pods may have popped during lights off..the Thing is my buds look great but im not sure if my plants have been polinated or if this plant has hermied on me are these seed pods forming in my buds or signs of hermie?:wall: i hope you can help me by looking at the pic's i'll post..Thanks in advance for your help..Peace

Also i failed to mention that the pods are not all over every bud sight just about half of them...

in the second pic, just to the left of the seed pod, is a male flower. your plants are showing some hermy traits. doesn't look too bad though. i'd let them finish but expect a few seeds.

So fdd, give it to me real honest, im only 3 1/2 weeks from the scheduled chop on these are they a total lost? what if anything are they worth? is it smokeable? are the seeds workable? if it hermied it must have pollenated itself does'nt that make for some good seeds??? please let me know something because i dont know nothing about this...

it won't be any different, other than having a few seeds in it. :weed:

hermy plants make hermy seeds.

Thank you Bud God, id hate to totally lose out on this grow , hey thank you for everything fdd i'll give you a smoke report in about 6 weeks after a good dry and cure..Peace

that sucks but its more than likely my fault so i'll learn another valuable lesson..:sad:
