The roots need air so you should mix perlite, rice hulls etc

You bought some coco\peat blend with little tiny perlite. It could even have slow release fertilizer in it I dunno I don't use the shit
I still don't understand why people get this stuff when there's pages upon pages of info on the best mediums to use.
