Seedling Light Cycle

What light cycle are you supposed to use for seedlings that are roughly 1" tall? I have them under a T5 fluorescent and have been doing 24/7 light, but i realized that might be incorrect...I used fem seeds, btw.

I personally use 18/6 for all of my clones, seedlings mothers etc..I believe it is beneficial for them to get some sleep :)

Cannabis does not need rest. A 24/7 light schedule is perfectly acceptable if you can manage the heat/extra power consumption.
The extra "growth" you see during lights out is called stretch. It happens.

The amount of light your plant can absorb is dependent on many factors though. Read up on light saturation point.

FWIW I personally use the gas lantern cycle (12/1). I use a lot of power and its hard to cool all at once. With the GLC I can flip flop my veg and flower lights. Keeps my power consumption constant and don't have to try and cool all my lights at once :)
only downside is co2 generator stays on 24/7..
To each there own.

Well this really depends on what you are doing with your plants also. First of all,
what are your plans? Are they going outdoors when the weather permits? How long
are you planning on vegetating them? Or is this an indoor grow?

Personally I keep my flouro tubes about a half inch on top of them
to minimize stretch at all costs. You want a short stocky plant, you dont
want a stretchy flemsy plant that cant withhold the weather. Or if your
planning on going indoor you dont want a weak stemmed plant that will
be hard to stand on its own without support when it comes to supporting
buds.

Please let me know your plans a bit more in depth and I will help you out
with whatever I can. Happy trails my friend!
