seedling roots going up?

is it me or it looks like some roots are going upward and not the seed it self?

only thing i can think of is because maybe light is getting into your soil through that dirt since they aren't in much of a container...

maybe not tho....

it looks like its coming out the right way but your stalks are white for some reason...isnt that the seed shell i see on top of the first set of leaves?

yes 2 of them look normal with a seed shell, the other ones looks like roots poping out

they were in the dark

can a tap root go out of the jiffy near the light instead of the darkness inside the jiffy?

ok when you germinated your seedlings, when the root came out of the shell did you point that root down when you planted it? roots dont grow up, they like the dirt...lol....and even if you pointed the root up i would think that it would find its way down and the stalk would find its way up....its kinda weird....hows an update pic?
