seedlings

Hi guys, do you know how much light should a seedling receive after sprouted, i currently have them under a 20 watt cfl, but i got 2 more lights, can i put them right away under all of the lights to speed things up or would it be too much and dry them up. thanks

How close is the lght to the seedling... If the seedling is 2-3 days old, you should have the light about 1-2 inches from the plant and have a fan blowing in the room.. The fab does not have to be right on the plant... but the little lady should be showing some sign of MOVEMENT.. even if it is ever soooo slight...

this wilol prevent burning..

CFLs.. should be kept within 1 inch at almost ALL times.. they have very poor penetration and LOOSe ther power after abot 3-6 inches...

i got them like 3-4 inches away from the light and they sprouted yesterday. is the fan really neccesary, right now i dont have one, theyre under one 43 watt cfl and 2 20 watt cfl??
im buying the book by the way, seemorebuds.
