Seeds in Bud?

Right, I'm pissed off!! This is my 1st plant and im just drying it out now and my tester bud has got loads of seeds in it, will this be smokable or will it have to be thrown out does this mean one of my plants in the flower room is a male? This is really stressing me out so please help me out.

yeah you got a male somewhere in the bunch and i hate to be the bearer of bad news but any other females you had flowering with the one u took down are prob gonna have seeds too, either a hermie or a male in there somewhere

Man I feel like crying. How could this happen? There is no light leaks and my friend who has been growing longer than me checked them and he said they were all ok

doesnt take much to make that happen, im dealing with one myself
i have 12 plants, all feminized seeds and one that is flowering keeps popping out pollen sacs, i yank em long before they can do any damage but you have to be really diligent when checking for them

what strain and what breeder??

It is Anesthesia from attitude seeds, I'm gutted, I have 5 other different strains in there as well it looks like I'm gonna just let the 2 main ones finish, only another week to go then get rid of the rest before I put any new ones in. I have a few only a week away from finishing their veg period.

go look for male flowers and pull em

plant on left is a male plant, you can see the pollen sacs, look like banana bunches, the right plant is a female that has been pollenated and producing seeds
diagram 7,6,and 5 are female preflowers, you can tell by the pistils

So sorry to hear about your problem bro! Fem seeds by nature are more likely to hermie on you. What you are looking for on a hermie is yellow bananas growing out of your buds late in flower, they are yellow and they almost look like white hairs in the buds but they are yellow and just pull them out with tweezers before they open. There are other ones too, they can grow balls also by the buds. Or look at the nodes and make sure there isn't any bananas down there. It seems to be an epidemic now with these fem beans, so when growing fem seeds you have to keep an eye on your plants. Once again sorry to hear about your hermie problem, once you see them you will never have a problem recognizing them again! The only thing I can tell you is chalk it up to a learning experience and learn from it!

my 1st grow the same thing happened to me...
I started with 5 plants in total. After a 5 weak veg and finding out their sex, i killed the 2 males and was left with 3 nice females...

Everything went great the whole entire grow...(so i thought at least)...
About a week b4 i chopped the 1st lady i saw some seeds forming on some of the lower buds. I was pretty upset to say the least. Kinda like u...
Well after some studying and reading i figured that imust have had a hermie in the bunch...
You live and you learn. Now i know what to look for and i know what a male flower looks like...

I ended up chopping the 2 remaining females around weak 10...
All of the herb ended up having seeds in it. The lower bud sites seemed to have a lot more seeds then the top colas. But anyway, the weed was pretty good even though their were some seeds in it...

Right, I have looked at my other plants and I can not for the love of god find these male parts I have found seeds on there.early stages in the other plants so I am going to pull them and save whatever bud I can, its a 2 week early pull but that is better than losing the.lot ill clear out the others and put new ones that I'm vegging in there during the week. Not a total loss.but it still hurts

Thanks lads I found out the same, the lower buds have more than the higher ones so that's why I'm not to gutted, I'm glad I caught it this early so at least its not all turnt into seeds. The cola still seems gorgeous so ill see in a week when its dry.

whats all the fuss? if you have different strains in there you just successfully breeded! now you dont have to buy seeds from said seed bank. forget nirvana or what ever ppl on here should trade seeds !!!

who knows? maybe you'll get a new cross,even if it was self pollenated you will get other phenos and more of the seeds will be female unless it was pollenated by a genetic hermie in wich case all seeds will be hermies . You can just squeeze the seeds out, or I use a grinder and seperate seeds from bud. Pollenation is a drag, but its not mold or spidermites so smoke that shit!

I bought these seeds feminized from attitude, so they will be hermies and I don't want to take the risk. I will keep them though for a rainy day the three culprits are anesthesia, la cheese and Cinderella 99. So they could be a mix of any of those until I find the culprit. Oh and don't worry,, I will be smoking all that shit

Seems just another reason for me to stay away from feminized seeds. It would be a drag to spend all that time, effort, and money gone on a product that seemingly will perpetuate itself. Even more so you'll have to disinfect in hopes of not spreading it to future crops.

Yeah man, feminized seeds are risky. I use them myself, but not the next time around, there's just too much at stake. Yeah, the weed is still smokeable, but IS NOT what you were planning on, and isn't fun. Hermies can be a real bitch to find too. I lost two grows(14 plants each) awhile back, and never did find which strain hermied on me. I ended up getting rid of them all and starting with new seeds, from a strain known to remain stable.

Sorry, but there's not a whole lot you can do in your situation, except to pick out the seeds, or make a pile of hash.lol

I was thinking of making some ice hash lol I could probably make quite a bit with 3 plants worth so where so you lot get your seeds from then? I always thought fem seeds were the way to go? Any rips for a burnt newbie
