Seeds In: Northern Light X Big Bud

Ich habe Pläne große Pläne
Ich baue dir ein Haus
Jeder Stein ist eine Mylar
Und du ziehst nie wieder aus
Ja ich baue ein Häuschen dir
Hat keine Fenster keine Tür
Innen wird es dunkel sein
Dringt überhaupt kein Licht hinein

I'm debating right now. As it stands the plants are right on top of each other. It's almost like a sea of green with just 4 plants. The canopy covers the entire grow closet and there is next to no room, they are all over each other. I'm wondering if I would be better off killing one of them to make more room. I'm new to deciding whether or not quantity (amount of plants) may result in less at harvest time. I'm sure there is a balance. Someone please advise.

I think you're the only one who can answer this one. What does your gut feeling tell you? Mine tells me you'd be better of sticking with the 5 plants, but as I said - it's only a gut feeling - it's not based on anythging logical or rational.

The greater the density of plants in any given area, the greater the yield.

The 2 other plants less indica in them, have some stringy ass buds. The flower to leaf ratio is horrid. That one up front (mainly indica one) has shoots and buds with hardly any leaf whatsoever on them. From day to day you can see the bud growth on it. The leafy ones ain't hardly changed a bit. I cloned that big indica one and trying some topping and bending and all sorts of dumb shit on it. I think I may just go with this 1 plant next time around and see what kind of monster I can grow. I'll get some pics up soon.

Pictures.....34 days since changing to 12/12....Last pic is a clone of the bigger plant up front, it's has buds twice the size if not more than the other plants. It's been tied down and fimmed up a little.

I wish I knew the difference between the Northern Lights pheno and the big bud one, or which one is which...oh well. Thanks olds442, I'll keep it updated.

nice looking plants mate, im not that far behind you in flowering ( 3 weeks tomorrow ) and mine is going back under the 400w hps later today & i hope it will stay there if i can keep the heat down.

Another lesson learned. I will not use a mutiple tub DWC unless I have clones of a *certified* female. Since this was a later flowering herm I have a rootball the size of .... let's just say it's huge, stuck to the other roots. I guess I'll have to attempt to pull it apart as the roots die completely. I'm sure this is going to be messy.

Hygrozyme ready for what? I will take your advice though and give it a shot at making some hash. I got some mesh screens, but I don't know if they are fine enough for hash. I'm going to start searching around on ways to make it and see what happens.

I threw a couple of plants that were in soil into the "firing chamber" today. Small clones probably about 8 inches, just to fill the void in there.

hi smoker, your grow is looking great mate. are your's still stretching ? mine has taken a big stretch in the last few days and im now having to tie it down to keep it away from the light.

It's over now, thank goodness cause it got close. It's maturing fast now, I'm starting to get some darker hairs.

I done killed both the other big ones. Now it's just the BIG plant and the little baby one. I threw 6 more plants in total of clones. They are all in miracle grow organic soil with peat moss and perlite mixed in. The plant that I'm training and growing into a vegetative monster is doing great. I figure when this plant is done flowering I will throw her in there. 1 plant and see what I yield off of it.
