Seeds in paper towel

I put 2 Bubblegum seeds in wet tissue paper 48hrs ago and planned on planting them in an AG as per the plan in my grow journal. Alright well my seeds were popped this morning and I wanted to plant them today. Unfortunately my mate who currently has the AG wasn't able to get it back to me, so as of this moment the seeds are still sitting in the paper and I'm wondering what effects this could have?

Can someone please word me up on the impacts of keeping your popped seed in wet paper towel for an extra 24hrs? If it's critical to prevent them from staying like this, what is a good temporary solution?

From wat ive experienced, which ive had a few experiences similar to urs. As long as you keep them lil gals (hopefully gals) covered, in the dark, sum warmth and especially make sure theyre good and moist and dont dry out then they'll be fine. Most ive gone time wise was 2 days after they popped. I was sweatin nonetheless.

And when I plant them do I plant them with the start of the tap root facing down, or the tip of the tap root facing down? I've never bothered germing in paper towel before, but as this is my first brand name grow I wanted to check if both seeds popped.

put those seeds in some dirt. keep them growing. shock will come to the seed if it isnt in a medium. put them in a pot and let them grow then when you get your ag back you can wash the dirt away and put them straight into ur ag grow

Hear wat ur sayin there, but in my opinion leavin em popped in towels for another day versus puttin em in soil then taken em to ag is a lil stressful as well. But as far as how to plant it, ive always put em in soil wit the tap root facin down. Like i said im no guru lol i just dont get to worked up bout things, i find things go alot easier that way lol.

Thats necessary for 24hrs? Bearing in mind I grow in hydro the only soil I could get would be from out on the street... not going to do that as I dont want to introduce nasties to my plants/systems, not to mention I think that putting a tiny tap rooted seed from paper towel > soil > wash > rockwool would be simply too risky in terms of damage.

I have some rockwool on hand and it's 1am so thats the only generic option, but if someone has something more creative then please suggest!

The rockwool will be fine bud. Let em take form in it and just plop it into ur ag. Since ur not gonna have ur ag for a bit, just moisten up that rockwool, maybe try puttin a dome over it if u have one available. If not then dont stress, just put a darn Cup over it hehe. Keep in mind, before all of our genius methods and ideas came about as far as what to do to get a lil bud in ur closet, these babes were growin freeeeely, just seeds fallin off, somehow managing to germinate and sprout a beautiful plant. Put some faith in ur seeds and they'll luv ya rite back....most of the time haha.

Just incase someone finds this thread and is wondering, the seeds went into RW with 3/4" taproots and broke the surface the next day. Going strong and never had any problems. So 3+ days in a paper towel is not an issue.
