Good to hear. I got the seeds as a freebie from seedsman so wasnt expecting much from it. It looks like it might turn out pretty good though. Im just into week seven so another couple of weeks and they should be putting on some weight by then.

I'm growing a freebie too. But it was a late entry into the grow so it is very small. Just like 6 buds. Liked the smell it was giving off and thought it might mix well with the pollen donor I have so I dusted the top bud. If it takes I hope I can find time to bring it forward in a cross. I can't see any of my seeds yet but fingers crossed. What's your smelling like? Mine seems to have a sweet note but I can't describe it yet. Some describe skunky but I'm not getting that. Forget right now what the parents are of JH.

Finding a few different descriptions:
1) NL5xHzC X SK1xHzC
2) Original Haze x Red Skunk, and
3) It was originally created by Sensi Seeds by crossing a Haze with a Northern Lights #5 x Shiva Skunk cross.
I don't know what the C is in HzC, and don't know where the sweet comes from with that lineup but no matter.

The shpeel on seedsman says its haze x redskunk mix. Wasnt much of a smell of it up until 4-5 weeks in. Definitely a strong skunk smell coming from it now and seems very compact and dense. I had done some mainlining and lollipoping with it and have lots of decent mini tops all over. Im just hoping it stays on course and starts filling out even more now.

Cool. I smelled it yesterday and already forgot part of my conclusions. There was something orangish and something I forget and something funky-like smegma, sure to attract the ladies just don't tell them!

haha, it's yuk but that's what I thought is behind the other more appealing smells. it's same as skunk, why do we love skunk? we're not supposed to but we fucking do! then again skunks are only in America so do you know what a skunk smell really is? i'm telling you there's something funky back there and it's primal. when it comes to weed we seem to like it. I've read some describing baby poop smells in strains. Now that's something I really don't see myself liking but you never know.

I grew out some ILGM JH outdoors this summer. Smelled like cola (Pepsi or Coke, maybe more Pepsi) during the day but had a tangerine smell at night.

Yeah no poop smells for me. I'm ok with some funk but poop is where I draw the line.
With you on the skunk. Though my dogs got blasted last summer and it was not what I would describe as a skunk weed smell more like an electrical fire, really chemical-ly smelling but they got blasted full on. For like 10 months any time they got wet you could smell it....blech.

omg never been that close. but smell skunks off the road all the time and when they're far away I always have that knee jerk reaction to look to see who's got the shit because real skunk is the shit but it's always just a patch of woods and skunks are fucking all over the place man! Porcupines smell like skunk too I'm told but not quite as strong.
