Seriously, no filter? That's cool, though the place must reek.. I reckon I can even smell mine when I put my head into the tent after it has been closed up for a time. Do you think it hurts the plants to leave the tent open during lights on? I guess as long as humidity isn't a factor, it's be ok. When I'm potting around downstairs I leave the door open, so I can admire my little things..

I try to keep my tent closed as much as possible to keep out pest. Climate Humidity is really an interesting subject matter I've been trying to read about VPN lately do you have any thoughts on it. Curious in how much different strains are effected.
According to the breeder of this strain Skywalker Og optimal environments are 70 degrees Fahrenheit with the humidity of 40%. Supposedly the strain is known for p.m. and mold issues. According to the VPD calculator that I used that would give me a VPD of 1.52 which is just at the top of the suggested VPD. I believe I read that you want a VPD of 1.0 for seedlings and germinating and around 1.2. just something I've been trying to figure out more on. Suppose it's time to search the forum I know I've seen VPD floating around here somewhere lol.

no it wont hurt them, i have a fan blowing 12" blowing on them 24/7 and it requires the door be open as its stand would get in the way of the plant pots and id risk wind burn

as stated before by a grower, its reverted back to a two leaved monster, im a little concerned as its growing slowly, but i dont yet have it in its final pot. oi had to get new pots as my mum and I used them up for gowing potatoes. i ordered them but they never turned up and had to reorder them, so ive yet to place them into it. im useing some new soil and the roots are verry slow growing, but then again, there still outsid, ill have to move them indoors under the grow light. lesson learnt, as there so slow, i migtht just leave them outside and start fresh with a new bunch of seed as i have loads of freebie seeds to use up, one of which is an auto power plant cross that im looking foward to growing

Perhaps the growth is in the roots and once it's done it will try to sort out all it's deformities. Sounds like you will be nice and busy! Hope you and your mum are well and have lots of potatoes!

Hey brains trust.. Anyone enlighten me on the difference beween these roots. Both pots have them, like horizontal filaments coming out at regular intervals. Looks like there is one per plant. Interesting.. always! Hope everyone is having a great day/evening/night... Grow Roots L 20052021.JPG

I believe that is the most important thing if you have at the moment I can't remember the actual term for it. But that little booger is the one that's actually taking a nutrients. I believe as roots mature more should appear! That plant is telling me that it can finally take nutrients but not much!

Sorry for the crappy spelling but you are looking at a route that is maturing and is now ready for filtering it's intake instead of using the stomata or pores of the leaves. It's really neat to look at!

Awsome! Love ginger has so many benefits and does smell so wonderful. Like to add a little to my turkey noodle soup. I'll definitely be checking out the pics of the haze!!! my girl is ok considering she has thrips.
I suspect my visitors came through my exhaust screen on the window probably going to have to go a bit smaller on the holes same thing with my intake fan. Had a lot of problems with pest outdoors this season perhaps it has something to do with the drought not sure. Best wishes to you and the wife!

Hey all just wanted to say hi! Hope everyone's gardens are doing well! Mine is still chugging along. I'm currently dealing with thrips but I'm in good spirits. It's late in flower so I'm not going to spray or use anything to try to stop them. I've decided to just try to make the environment as uncomfortable as possible for them and try to make it to the end of Harvest.
For now they seem content sucking the nutrition from my leaves down low. I'm only finding a few here and there in the canopy up high. Once I increased the airflow and drop the temperatures they slowed down. It's not ideal for the plant she's a little stressed with all that negative pressure and the airflow but I think it's the lesser of the evils. If I manage to get some decent mold and chemical free mids I'll be happy!
As usual best wishes and feel free to share your kickass garden pics!

Hey all my first grandchild was born recently! Unfortunately that has left me less time to monitor my grow...I know my ppm was 900ppm I mixed the res. But my sister in-law was in charge of pH monitoring while I was away. Not sure what happened but I have reduced the feed now and I'm giving it a pH of around 6.2 6.3 at PPM of 750. I love my sister dearly! and kudos to her for helping me out. Hope all is blessed and please feel free to share your cool pics!

Cheap organic soil for this round not expecting much just looking for a non pH method. I'm also planning on traveling in the future so I want to set up a process that allows me to do that and still be able to harvest something decent. I plan on doing worm castings, fish and kelp emulsion, and Epsom salt. I started the plant in Coco in the transplanted it into organic soil.

I'm not positive but I think I'm about 14 days from seed and it's another Fem Skywalker OG from Nirvana seeds just like My current plant. I should be harvesting her soon she's getting pretty crispy I'm thinking about another week we're going into week 9 as of Wednesday! Hope everyone is well and please feel free to post and comment :bigjoint: IMG_20210615_152050.jpg
