Sounds about right. That's a lot of water. If you're changing the res every week it's 320 gallons. In the beginning it will be a little weaker than full strength and if you wait till about day 10 to change res it will save a little as well. You might want to go with dimmable 1000 ballasts becaues the money will really go for the lights. If you start out with them at only 600 watts till they flower (just keep them about 8" off the tops) that will save you about $100.
