Sensi hash plant/Soma Somango/GreenHouse W. Widdow + 5 other strains - 1200 watt grow

I was going to say just send back the old tent and tell them they will usually send you the new one.

yea they already agreed to send a new one, but i might just order a secret jardin since its 5" x 5" (slightly larger than their next size down) and have them refund me for the other one..

I dont have much time to decide seeds are already in germination..

GOnna think about it over the weekend and pull the trigger early monday morning

Posted above is pics of the seeds and beginning of germination started 11PM last night, opened them around 10 hours later and only 1 or 2 popped, water felt kind of cold so went to CVS and picked up a heating pad, put them under and in 2 HOURS later, over 25% have popped.. Going to check again now, hoping for more.. Planting will begin soon

unfortuanatley I do not have a tent until the secret jardin comes in, so not sure will i be keeping these babies yet

I usually label my cups like that as well.Looks like this will be a fun start..

yea man been excited to get started, so said fuck it and started germinating

so far 9 out of 25 seeds germ'd in around 24 hours, many were done within 12

so far:

5 out of 5 white widow
2 out of 5 somango
0 out of 10 hash plant
2 out of 5 attitude freebies

Only issue is, since I dont have a tent, I dont have a light setup, instead i went in my garage stacked a couple of bins 7 feet high and put them under 2 X 40 watt holdheld floruscents.. I dont think it will kill them for 2 or 3 days while the tent comes(paid for overnight shipping)

i dont thik theyll stretch that much, only worry is they are about 14 inches away from the bulbs which seem far, but if i stack stuff any higher, they may fall over

think it will be ok

Actually i think they would be alright until your tent gets there.the floros wont do nothing but get them started.

yea its only 3 days, back in the day on my first grow i had my plant under a crappy cfl for 3 weeks before i put it on HIDS, and i still yielded nearly 2 ozs on one plant

So far:

Soma Somango - 4 out of 5 sprouted
Seedsman W. Widow - 5 out of 5 sprouted
Sensi hash plant - 6 out of 10 sprouted(seems to be the slowest one)
Short Stuff Blue Himalaya - 1 out of 1 sprouted
Short Stuff Onyx - 1 out of 1 sprouted
Short Stuff Super Cali haze - 1 out of 1 sprouted
Kannabia BCN Diesel - 1 out of 1 sprouted
Dinafem Blue Cash - 1 out of 1 sprouted

TOTAL 20 out 25 sprouted, if at this point, even if no more sprout, i'll be happy.. attitude definatley has fresh seeds, right now is about the 40 hour point and they have popped up like crazy

Since i dont have the tent, I went out to the store and bought 2 double T8 floroescent fixtures, all bulbs are 65k spectrum, figured id be able to use them down the road for early veg anyways.. plants are 4 - 5 inches away right now.. will keep them here for a few days until the tent is up, then under 1200 watts of light they go (maybe will start with 600 watts)

anyways, below is all the plants, planted

25 out of 25 sprouted and PLANTED

Of that about 5 are popping up out of the soil

Right now they are under 24 hour light from floros

I will move them under the HIDs in a few days on 18 hours of light

All theyve had so far is plain spring water (around 6.5 PH naturally)

cept they jipped me on my free onyx seed, and it looks like one of my auto great white sharks were crushed. did u receive cole train? bcuz mine didnt sprout and wonder if it sux or something.

i sprouted all my autos freebies and got them under 24/0 cfls

i also just startin germing my somango super lemon haze + 3 others.

i cant wait to see ur stuff i wanna compare my somango to urs haha

UPDATE:

15 out of 25 popping out of soil

im doin soil, might do one or so in a hydro setup
im usin cfls to veg em then hopin that the florida sun will still be nice for flowering, its deffinitely hot enuff
my first somango just popped today

Its been a while so I forget when the first day of veg is considered to be so correct me if im wrong, but this seems to be around week 2 day 1

I fucked up with the advanced nutrients chart and fed 800 ppm, some handled it, others got burnt, none the less will be doing plain phd tap water for atleast the next week

Ive also included some pics of the basic setup i did, for the first time in my life, im runing 1200 watts of light and it might actually be TOO COLD in the room, which i guess isnt a hard thing to fix.. so im prettyhappy the way the room is setup, other than the fact that im running 2 inline fans that are heard throughout the house, may have to get a muffler soon, but im trying to schedule the lights so when guests are over, they happen to be off if anyone pops by unexpected, ill just turn the fans off for a few, shouldnt be a big deal

the plants on the left are the ones who stayed good with the 800 ppm, the ones on the right experienced some burn..

Also these are still on 24/0

I will be switching over to 18/6 tonight and doing 18/6 for another 3 weeks.. then into flower they go

Looking good since i last saw them.

You'll be vegging them too long for that much wattage. Try a total veg height of 10-14" tall otherwise you'll just have bud sites stretched all over the plant. Proper height = proper density buds! When watering dont water them just ph water because of the nute burn for an entire week, that's too long. Try this rotation: Nutrients, water, rest, nutrients, water, rest. Works great.
