So, I went out to my growing plot about 30 minutes ago and found that my very best plant is having some problems and even with all the knowledge that I have, I cannot seem to put my finger on what the issue is!
I have a pure Indica strain(Durban Poison?) that I have transplanted to one of the best outdoor spots that I have found in years, no bugs, good soil, lots of southern exposure and no worries about intruders! Ok, so my point is that I found several fan leaves looking like the attachment I have included, on my best plant. Its been hot and then cold several times this season so far and not very dry either. I've fertilized with some 10-50-10 ferts made by Plantex that I've used quite often with no issues or burning...I always use half strenght just to be sure. The plant has really decided to grow and the most mature fan leaves are about the 10" in length(not including the stem). I don't think its burnt beacuse the leaves still feel viable and lush and to be honest, I have never seen a deficiency like this! The plant as a whole is very healthy and the "zebra striping" is only on a couple fan leaves, not new growth but only a few mature fan leaves.
Its still too early to tell if the plants that I have are female yet, I was very tempted to just yank the sucker anyways but I thought better of it and decided to consult all of you. Is this a defeciency or a poisoning? By the way, some of the plants including the one I got this leaf from is under a 1000W or more HPS street light, I mean the light is directly overhead, could this be the issue? The issue with that is that there is another Indy 1 foot away from it, exactly the same size and it shows no signs of this "striping."
Please let me know if I need to be more specific about anything, I really need to figure this one out before its too late!!!
