Set up or pc meal

Is it better to buy a complete tent setup or purchase
The tent and light etc separate
Also any input on which one to choose appreciated
Looking to grow between 2 to 4 plants

I would say buy seperately. The reason I say that it because I've seen some altogether kits and at least one item will be crap, say the carbon filter or worse the light.

Can you give us a budget?

Yes 300$ is hopefully my budget i say i am being a cheap skate because i smoke about a 1/2 a week at 270 a z LOL

I always remember one of the first things I read on this site was to get a good light, HLG Gavita, whatever is in your budget, but don't scrimp on the light, search in LED section in forum, DIY maybe whatever your comfortable with, some brilliant DIY builds.

Definitely separate. +1 On saving money with a do it yourself LED setup. I'd add a dimmer knob too, to maximize energy savings. There are plenty of threads around on different varieties of DIY boards.

Here's a good light kit by HLG that will be great in a 2'x4' tent.

Then I'd get a gorilla grow tent 2' x 4' w/ the high cfm bars 22$ +272$

Then you'd need an extraction fan. I'd get a t6 cloudline infinity https://www.acinfinity.com/hvac-home-ventilation/inline-duct-fan-systems/cloudline-t6-quiet-inline-duct-fan-system-with-temperature-and-humidity-controller-6-inch/ 150$ then more $ for the duct and charcoal filters if you need them

and also a few fans for inside, some pots, and the medium you're growing in. Also nutrients, and maybe even a PH and PPM meter.

I would use equipment similar to try and setup this is just all top of the line things you can look at to get an idea of some good stuff to look at and find something comparable

If you buy good stuff it works for you a long time, you buy crap and well it's crap.

Have you thought about a hps and 1.5'x3' tent to use for a few rounds and then upgrade. A 400w hps in that tent would get you 4-5oz every 3 mths. Just a thought if you're strap. We all started somewhere!
