Settle this please. temp needs for LED

Here's the breakdown of averages from my recent grow.

I didn't mess with VPD at all, kept humidity around 40 for most of it and then dropped it near the end. I just chopped today and the tent is hanging up to dry. I'm a newer grower, but everything seemed to work pretty well to me.

eta: It's probably useful to say my average daytime temps are 82-85 and nighttime roughly 10 degrees lower, since that's not super apparent in the graph as presented.

My experience with indoor setups is limited as we all know.

But what I can tell you is that at the beginning I didn't believe it needed to be that warm and that humid.

Until I tried it and saw explosive growth and new growth issues dissappear.

I thought it was light intensity. But upon further review of info out there and what happens if its not dialed I found the lack of heat and humidity was causing new growth to come in shriveled.

Maybe it was a combo of light intensity and VPD needs. But the temp and humidity shift made a ton of difference.
This makes sense, as you know I have the SF-2000 and I couldn't understand why you kept dimming your light. I have my light at 100% after the 1st week, but this winter I had to get a humidifier to keep the humidity up, otherwise I was having issues.

this is exactly why I have posted these diagrams, as you can see better photosynthetic rates at higher temps.
But do not mistake them for VPD as rH isn't included.
Neither is an analysis of leaf boundary layer resistance, if I pull air through my grow leaves can loose a lot more water than humidity can hold back.

If I plot boundary layer, air temperature and light I would have a graph that rh doesn't change much. If I plot heat and rh I can seem to play around more, one is not a good scale to use.

My experience with led is very limited but these are from around mid December, the ave temperature was 19/21c but got down to 16/17c during the frosty weather.
I had a few problems at the time which I put down to temperature but it turned out to be due to the led being to close, iirc this was 4/5 days after raising the light, although it was cold they were clearly responding positively.

This is almost certainly for hps
Looks like the study was done with LED

Different PPFD were provided with the help of an artificial light source (Model LI-6400-02; light emitting silicon diode; LI-COR), fixed on the top of the leaf chamber and were recorded with the help of quantum sensor kept in range of 660-675 nm, mounted at the leaf level.

You guys are brave as hell pushing your flower rooms/tents in the upper 60's to 70's RH. If I did that especially late in flower my buds would be rotted all to hell unless I chopped them early. I keep my veg tent in the 60's and use a dehumidifier/inkbird to keep my flower tent between 45-55% RH.

i was in the mid 80F crowd when i switched to led.

last 2 grows, dropped to high 70'sF and my buds have stopped foxtailing. not the same strains so could be that instead.

about a 15 deg day/nite difference
I have four different autos under the same temps and conditions in the same tent. Running about 78-80F average. 2/4 are showing major foxtailing and are also the lowest plants from the light. The other two are great. Can only guess the foxtailing two are from poor genetics.

In a 3x3 with a MarsHydro TSW2000 (315 watts @100% from wall) and a single 8" clip on fan on the floor, my Temps are 30C and 60-70% RH with the tent closed.

Single plant, topped once and LST / cloned.

Seems quite happy.

I run a 4" inline fan for 10 min every hour sucks from bottom to top. 6 weeks in still no need for carbon filter (yet).

With the tent open and a 16" vortex style floor fan blowing in, Temps drop to 24C and 30-40 RH.

You running co2? 30 seems high....
