sex?

hello, i vegged my plants for five weeks and i am now into my fourth day of flowering when will they start to show preflowers(sex) and when will the males pollinate thanks for all the help seeker

preflowers are before flowering, you should already have them. the pollen will come when you see it's a male, and then the flowers open. each plant is different.

1-2 weeks after 12/12 is initiated you'll see either pistils or pollen sacs. Carefully toss/chew/mail/explode the male plants and continue to grow your females. G'luck

i had limited height so i had to flower them at about 19 inches, they are at about 25 inches now, so i can wait a week to see pistils or pollen sacs without the males pollinating the female plants

Thanks for all the help so far... this is my first grow so am considering these plants like my children... I am almost through my first week of flowering, the tops of the plants have lightened in color and they seem to be thriving.. sexing plants,is it cut and dry or is their room for mistake...I don't see any pistils or pollen sacs however my plants are packed in very tightly in a small space(mistake)..so it is hard for me to get my nose right in there and look, i have a regular magnafine glass.. should i be able to sex them with a regular magnafine glass.. i also have four white widow femanized plants going and 8 big bud.. I have tried to download pictures but it says they are to big, I don't know how to shrink them, can someone explain to me how i can get pictures on here thanks alot seeker

Use a mega pix setting of 2.1 or less. You can resize them in photobucket but i don't use it so I can't tell you how. The pistols and pods can be seen without a magnification and will be obvious whhen you finally see them....
