Sexing this early?! Really?!

Sorry but this is my first time, and I've seen plenty of examples of males vs. female, but I wanted a second opinion.

Its only day 12 today. A few days ago I mistook the stipules for pistils, but today I noticed something else around the corner from the stipules. Am I looking at a calyx, from where the pistils will emerge?? :D It looks lighter, almost off white when you see it in person.

12 days is early but I'm positive my girls showed theirs by then. It's hard because of the growth of new stems etc. but if I had to guess I'd say girllll

there is nothing indicating sex in that picture. what you are seeing is the stipules and new growth, not pistils.

Those are new branches coming through. You can even see a tiny serrated leaf in pic 2. That example you have on the far right isn't very good seeing as how it shows no branch growing above the stem of the leaf
which is what would be there.

yeah above comments are right on. each fan leaf that developes will get a internode thet will grow out right above where the stem meets the stalk.

still im sure they are the same as the last pics you showed. unless they are auto's then you wont see sex till the plant is rather large.

they doo look to be about ready for a transplant though :)

goha is not the OP :P but yea goha, those things are still way to small you wont see anything yet.

u can use whatever you want depends how big ur space is an how big u want em to grow. u could use transplant them in to half gallon bags tho for now, with bags is great because if u dont wanna use the whole bag u can just fold it down and make your own size! hence if u want a wider but shorter planter, u could get a 2 gallon bag and fold that shit right on down to the size u want it ;)

So the thing growing right inbetween the joint of that first node and the main stalk, is actually growth of an "internode"? So the joint of two stems is growing a third stem in between?

I figured it was pistils because of the location of its growth (right at the inner joint of the main stalk and secondary branches, that's my first and most mature node in particular)

yup, but those are your secondary branches. you have a loooonng way to go... the first couple weeks are the slowest growth though. You will start to see them really start going soon.

The internode is the piece of stem between each node.

I hope you know that the leaf stalk isn't a branch. The branch is the thing growing above the leaf stalk. You don't have any branches yet, only
incipient branches (early stage of a branch).

This is a pic of a preflower on my plant, notice the preflower growing behind the stipule in front of a branch and leaf stalk. Just disregard that illustrated example
you have, it isn't accurate as it doesn't have any branches.

the first sight of pistils will be way thiner than those what your look at right now, and they will be almost a solid/transparent white! ull notice the difference once you see them!
