Subbed up for later reading.

I also use those plant yo-yos, they work a treat ;)

Anyways, I love what I've seen so far, and I'm sure I could learn a thing or two, happy growing! :leaf:

I'll answer for him lol, yes he did make the screens. You train the "branches" for a certain amount of time, weaving them in and out of the screen and keeping the canopy flat and even. It helps spread the light and give multiple tops without having much popcorn bud.

Pics are amazing btw SG, I just clicked on them finally... Duh! They need to fix the site asap but I like the changes so far!
Colas are starting to fatten up nice, whats your longest flowering strain this round?

Thanks for dropping in. Yea I love the yo yo's for the most part but I wish they came in two tensions. Weak and heavyashellbudsupport lol currently they are geared more towards the latter and sometimes over pull on me, eh but string is so 1800.

Yep, PVC, some elbows and Mason's nylon string. Total cost was about 25 ea. All can be found at the depot or lowes. And yea that's the idea. Tuck everything under for the first 10 days of 12/12 or so. A form of LST at that point and then it becomes a support structure. O and I tuck, not weave, weaving requires more flexible plants and usually some suppercropping to get enough flexibility.

Thanks smelly, things are starting to get awful smelly in my room lol The longest will probably be the PPP at almost 10 weeks, dunno if I'll let them go that long though. Phasing them out so next round (12) my longest should be about 9 weeks. Of course I'm constantly adding new stuff in, like Vanilla Kush and Blackwater which I am unsure of the flower period. I'll know in about 2 months when the tent side project is done. Still no delivery of the beans :( want to get a couple Timewreck popped
Can't believe I missed this! Nice set up and good stuff so far man. +rep
Thanks, I try to keep it interesting in here. 2k flower F&D setup, 600w waterfarm/tent setup and a 250wCMH waterfarm/tent setup. If you can't relate to one of those grows well shit I just don't know how to appease. Maybe a 20,000w setup...ahhh gotta dream right?

Thanks for droppin' guys. I'll be sure to check out all your journals. If you have any strains that you absolutely love I would like to hear about them!

Yep pretty much covering all angles in this thread! so you just tuck huh? Do you just pull the branch out of the hole and move it to a further one? Trying to picture the difference lol.. About that PPP, I heard from a few that it was a piney tasting strain? The reason I ask is because my white dwarf ended up being very piney so I realized how much I enjoy it! Anyway I'm sure you will lmk when its ready if you haven't sampled the strain already.

Here she was yesterday, day 5 of 12/12.

Yeah I just use the screen to pull them apart, spreading the branches outward. No weaving, just pull them from below and move em out. Click on my pic link in my sig, go to the blue mistic side project and check it out. I took pics every 2 days so it will give you a good idea of how I was training. Basically I had 4 main branches and worked each one toward a corner. Keeping the plant level forces it to branch like crazy and all the smaller shoots start filling the middle. I have also found the middle likes to buldge up a lil after you stop training so having a touch of a 'bowl' shape to the canopy is good to help offset that problem.

My ppp came out very sandlewoody, I really dunno how to describe it, it's not very pleasant to me though. No pine. Last time they were a bit shocked so hoping for a better scent profile this time, but rubbing the buds they smell an awful lot like last time. IDK I'm pretty pist about how poorly the PPP keep coming out.... lose leaves like crazy, stretch for 3 weeks after 12/12. Don't bud at all until 17 days 12/12, my PEs are already getting frost at that point. All and all I'm just not too happy with them and moving onto greener pastures.

Thanks for the honest opinion! I need to find a piney strain, isn't that what norther lights is known for? Man its so refreshing, a lot different then most of the bud around too!

Damn The tucking just hit me! I've been weaving which is a pain and I damage a few branches but nothing they couldn't take. I just would rather do it the way you suggested lol.. Owell next time! Thanks again, learn something new everyday :)

If you like sativa it is awesome. I'm more of an indica guy, but this stuff made me feel as close to tripping as any strain I'ven ever smoked. It just kept getting stronger, and stronger. Total creeper.
