Shame on you harborside health center.

shame on you for selling unrooted diseased clones. shame on you for having a bunch of idiots that dont know shit aqbout growing or the strains themselves working the clone counter.

yesterday i went out on a hunt for some new cuts and one of my stops was harborside health center because lets face it. the place does have variety. i was standing in line trying to get a view of the selection and couldnt believe the line of shit the people at the counters were feeding to the people trying to pick out some cuts. one guy asked about the brown and dry leaves on the cuts and was given the response" oh its ok they are just hungry get them home and give them a good dose of nutrients". really guys? then when the buyer asked to see if the clones had rooted the counter clerk picked through to find a nice rooted clone and then proced to pack(which i guess i could only see from my angle) a bunch of cuts that had no roots poking through, the sam cuts that he didnt want to show the buyer. now while this is going on the clerk next to him was feeding some guy a line about bog seeds "grape punch" ( of which they had 4 full trays) being the best and most potent cut they have. I have grown grape punch. in both soil and hydro only to be severly disapointed both times by yeild and potency. when asked about the genetics of a the blue cheese he responded by saying it was a cross between bubble gum and some sort of kush. really guys blue chesse is some sort of kush? cmon now get your heads out of your asses and get someone back there that has some sort of knowledge instead of lying to those that dont know and pissing off the ones that do.......

i stopped going into dispensaries a few months ago because i was so disgusted every time i went in.
inferior product at sky high prices.
unrooted cuttings for $45.
clueless staff.

its all a money making scheme now.

thats why I grow my own.

word man harborside is a nice place but the knowledge is not there apparantly. i have had nothing but bad luck from the clones out of the bay. For instance one time i went to sky blue to buy some clones and clearly the clones had thripes so i told them about it while i was there and they tried to tell me that it was normal lmao i told them they were fuckin idiots and then left and havent been back since... seems to me that the clones in the bay come from the same place and they hardly ever have roots showing Ive had to go home and put em under the clone lamps b4 roots have shown 3-4 days later.... and yea this is why i do my own good luck man

And when you are buying from folks like you explained there is no guarantee you are even getting the genetics they say they are.

My friend brought some over one day from a dispensary. They were supposed to be fully rooted, so we immediately transplanted them. To find out that 2 of the 5 were fresh cuts, and the other 3 had just started to root. When you have a patient who grows thier own it is because they are on a budget, and then they have to deal with these types of clowns. Sad situation.

Its all about making $.When that is the case shit goes down hill.They need to get knowledgeable people in there and not pawn shop type hustlers.

Haven't been to a disspensery yet and don't intend to. Especially now! Unless maybe somthing else like a good personal treat. Edibles and different little nuggets, but that's it.

when they first started man that place was awesome, but now its so busy in there they seem to be just hiring any and every stoner that comes there for a job. what ever happend to learning your craft man........

dont get me wrong. its nice to go check out some new strains everynow and then and a dispensary is a great place to do so. like i said i go from time to time to see whats out there for some different genetics, but im fourtunate enough to know what to look for. i felt bad watching some dude buy 65 cuts at $13 a pop that might not all take.

That's really a shame. They should have knowledgable and righteous folks working there. Then again, I would think most knowledgable folks don't wanna deal with the BS of working there. Smart, industrious people who know something about marijuana are probably running their own grows. I don't have any experience with dispensaries, but I'd think they border retail. Instead of taking some unknowledgable persons money when the situation presents itself, they could just keep it 100 and say, "hey you don't want that, you want this man, here lemme help you out". Just the view of a mere connoisseur. I feel you though, cause I'd be 1 of those guys to walk in there and get sheeped for my money.

Hmmm....I was at harborside on Friday and they had TONS of fresh fully rooted clones...I didnt get a chance to check every clone but the ones I picked up (limit that day was 36 and I used it) were all fully rooted and without any brown or dying leaves.

The knowledge at every dispensary is hit or miss, but I have never brought home bad clones from harborside and have been going to them for over a year, and harvested many clones from them....the experience you describe is the complete opposite of the experiences I have had there.

Your post shows you have never been there...the clones don't come in paper bags....oh and I have 2 girls flowering right now that aint hermies and yes they came from harborside..

Okay, you have been there but I have grown out probably 100+ clones from harborside and not had even 1 hermie, disease or pest problem. Your post said that most of them are hermies...what I am just lucky to have 100% success rate from them??

Sorry, makes no sense at all, My thumb is not that green as to overcome hermaphroditic plants nor is my luck all that great that I would believe that I got all the non hermie plants.

And for the record, clones are put into plastic baggies and then into 8x8 light cardboard boxes and sealed with tape....but hey, you have SO much experience, you already knew that...

And wait till you do get a pest, Hermie, or disease they will say sorry but there is ABSOLUTELY no guarantee more of a release of liability...lol

would have to agree with captain kush I have had no problems with the product I pick up from harbor side. If you know what you are doing you wont get sold bullshit. I make sure i see the roots are white before they go in the plastic bag. I will be there in FEB to get my outside clone for next year trees from harbor side.

First, I never said their budtenders were the best, its hit or miss throughout the industry with budtenders.

I do take issue with your statement that most of their clones are hermies. How many have you purchased that have hermied? DO you have pics?

And who buys 1 clone, anyways? WHat should they give it to you in??

ok im not trying to hate on an1 i got called out on the validity of my statements and backed them up with my experiences.

How would knowing what your doing mean u wont get sold bullshit.(will help tho) i could sell you a male clone with nice white roots. you wont get bullshit by going to a respectable dispensary.

all i would recommend is get seeds not clones if that is not available ask your tender what vendors flower the clones and do quality control to make certain its legit.

ask who's complained about what? and if u get lucky u will get some1 that knows something and will give u the behind the scenes.

I myself have only got 2 strains that have hermied but upon my next visit i was informed of how many people have complained about certain strains being hermied.(most prob due to inexperience but not all)

And well i would expect that no matter how much medicine u cld afford/have room for i would hope the same care be taken to prepare my cuttings then the next guy.

I mean wouldnt you?

but personaly i buy clones to mother because 11-13 a clone gets exspensive quick!!
