What's up everybody, I've been trying my hand at budget growing for a while on and off. I currently have a small 1.5d x 2w x 3t homemade cabinet. 3 pc fans for ventalation/air exchange and 1 pc fans for circulation. I started 3 plants, ended up with 1. Started with 5 32w cfls. 1 week before I flipped the lights I rearranged the lights and added a 300w led panel. So for flower I've had the 300w panel and 4 32w cfl. I'm used MG cactus mix for my base soil and added some coco perlite and vermeculite. For veg I ran maxibloom and for flower I'm running soul synthetics bloom. I just figured I'd share my grow with anyone that is interested. 20191122_161412.jpg20191122_161439.jpg20191122_161454.jpg20191122_161502.jpg20191122_161752.jpg20191122_161845.jpg

Very pretty pictures, but that plant is still not ready, plenty of white hairs. Leave it a bit more
I still have another 2 weeks or so.

As long as you are happy, it just looks like a lot of work for 30 dollars worth of pot.
Ya all this stuff was almost free. Same with the seeds, I got an good 150 seeds from a plant that I helped harvest. Have been having a 3:1 male:female ratio from this batch of seeds though. It's making it very frustrating and a lot of wasted soil and time. If I had started with a clone, I would have been able too triple the plant area with a screen. But it was taking too long with the weeding out males and all. So I threw her into flower as soon as the tops started growing up after tying her down.

This is a pretty dope setup. Dont be disinspired by the yield. Looks like nice bud! You could get away with using only 1-2 of those CFLs a few inches away from the plant of this size alone without the LED. Get some more veg time in with more tops or throw 4 plants in there next round. Plant looks super stocky like i see with most LEDs. A bit of stretch isn;t bad. Starting out with a CFL may get you a little more volume of growth and more room for bud growth.

Thanks, this is my first time with a LED in my arsenal. Usually it's all cfl. I got the led from a buddy to try out. So far u like it.
Story time!
I've been trying to grow for the last 8 - 10 years. Always on little to no budget and always in a homemade box. Apartment living doesnt allow very much room to grow. Not to mention how many times I have have had to move and get rid of all my supplies I accumulated.

This go around I have had 3:1 male to female odds with the seeds i have. This plant was actually set outside and not cared for. She had developed a really bad white fly problem and was covered in dirt and dust. When I figured out that the two plants I kept inside were all male, I turned to this plant who, little known to me was out back, parched and all the while still sprouting beautiful pistils all over. So I trashed the awesome, branchy, multitopped, LSTd works of art I had spent 2 months on, and cleaned up, pampered and tied down this untouched, neglected female from that back porch. Added the 300w led panel and Preceded Veg her out for another 2 weeks or so. I got antsy, so I flipped the lights and here she is about 4 or 5 weeks into flower. I think. Idk I'm not counting, I'm gonna let her tell me when it's time.

Story time. :)
