Where is that an expression? I have lived east coast and west coast and it is not there.

Yes, but I think it is a mispronounciation. My guess is that "Ship Load" became "Shit Load" which may have became "Shit Ton" somehow. Just a guess but go into church or somewhere and blurt out "Ship Load" really loud and see how many dirty looks you get due to misinterpretation.

One could say the exact same thing about fire or dank... especially as they are referring to the same thing yet have almost contradicting definitions. How on earth can fire be dank?

I have had extensive debate on this. Its a logarithmic scale.
buttload * 10 = 1 butt ton
butt ton * 10 = 1 assload
assload * 10 = 1 asston
asston * 10 = 1 shitload
shitload * 10 = 1 shitton
shitton * 10 = 1 fuckload
fuckload * 10 = 1 fuckton
so to awnser your initial question 1 fuckton = 10[SUP]3[/SUP] shitloads = 10[SUP]7[/SUP] buttloads
refer to other comments for metric conversions

I disagree with your explanations. I guess that's the joy of opinions I understand the use of the phrase "to be on fire", such as your example with Jordan, but he is not fire itself, he is on fire. What makes the weed fire itself, and not on fire. Meh, it's all just lame slang at the end of the day
