Afternoon all,

I have just hung panda film on the inside of my cupboard set up before take off. In the previous grow the hottest the room got was 31 degrees C but usually hung around 27-28c. As you can imagine i almost shat myself yesterday when i did a trial run with the new lining and the temperature reached 43c!!!!!! It seems the new lining doubled as a pretty good insulator (not sure why I did not expect this :joint:).

I was thinking I may replace the board the pots sit on with a wire screen and adding another intake fan to increase circulation. If anyone has any ideas I would love to hear them :)

ps. 400w hps & i will be scrog-ing. 20121124_130648.jpg20121124_130606.jpg

the pics are terrible, i have no idea what going, my best guess your therm was also sitting directly in the light not taking an accurate reading. my next bit of advice is move the exhaust fans intake to suck air from dicetly above bulb and place the fan as high as possible to follow the path of hot air boosting airfow. if you have anintake fan or port make sur it is near the bottom of the cab.

for your exhaust fan, i definitely recommend upgrading and getting a carbon filter. bout 120usd well spent.(dont know what that comes out euros)

yeah probably should have labeled them.
- The first picture shows the bottom of the cupboard, underneath where the plants sit. There is an intake fan (all be it pretty weak) in the picture which is on the floor of the cupboard.

- In the second picture the pvc tube on the right hand side is a carbon filter with an exhaust fan at the bottom connected to the ducting.
