You're paranoid. Real stalkers or bots won't create accounts using same IP address.

Method 1
Even if they're dumb as hell, if their provider uses DHCP, one can just hard reboot router and bam new IP.
Method 2
If no DHCP, one can clone PC MAC address to Router MAC Address to change IP address as well.
Method 3
Even if you cannot do any of the above, then you can just run VPN and boom new IP.
Method 4
Even if you do nothing, every 30 days or so, most providers run a clear cache/reboot procedure, so it'll provide you with a new, but similar IP address.

The people caught with same IP addresses aren't the ones you have to worry about, they're noobs.

I'm an intellectual young guy who loves to join in old people's conversations, that's all. You guys are pretty clever trolls for your seasoned age (1980's I'm guessing most of you?) Honestly. I'm impressed, I guess it was your era who started the art of troll so maybe I shouldn't speak.

Welcome new member. The trolling has been around forever



It has just been weaponized by using data analysis and online sources like Facebook to be able to micro target people with the exact propaganda that they are most likely to fall for.

This site, like every other, has been under attack for several years now and people are used to having to push back on the constant flow of 'new' trolls that pop up here.

If you start out trolling, you will get pretty much relentlessly attacked. People are too used to the cat fishing to start off slow and trusting you to not be a troll.

Wow such a good point. From the software perspective, I can definitely imagine automated micro-targeting propaganda being easily executed using a web crawler and bots. You're definitely an intellectual with a good grasp of how reality works.

Couple that with manufactured 'news' sites that are designed to not post anything that counters their specific narratives (like OANN) which can be linked to to give more credibility to their disinformation campaign, and an army of trolls who can amplify the messages on the different forums across the internet, and you start to get the idea of how pervasive this problem with the Russian military attacking our democracy really is.

And unfortunately nothing is being done about it because Trump sees it as the one way he can avoid jail time.
