Should I be paranoid?

So I got a postcard from my electrical company and so did a ton of other customers I am assuming. Basically they will be coming to my home and upgrading my meters. Should I be paranoid?

I am currently using 1500 watts consistently for 12 hours a day. I am assuming the electrician will show up and see me meter spinning (good be a lot worse) pretty fast. . .

Should I call my electrical company and see when they plan on coming out so maybe I can turn everything off for that day?

I have no smell issues I am aware of.
Or am I just being high?

it wouldn't hurt to call them and verify the postcard. maybe find out a general time or exact date for your neighborhood.

.."knowing is half the battle!"

It depends on the size of your house, also, as to what is considered even suspicious. I wouldn't worry too much about it, as long as you're house isn't emanating odors or odd light. For all they know, you've got a pottery kiln going.

I was just talking about making a studio to throw some clay in the other day, how ironic. lol.

I think Ima give them a call very innocent and politely and ask them a few questions just to feel more at ease. . .
