Should I control humidity in my tent or the room itself?

So I'm about to have a 2x2x4 tent growing one plant at a time in a scrog.

For the final weeks of flowering I want to bring down the humidity to around 50% or however much is recommended. Should I get a dehumidifier for the room? Or get an Eva Dry E-333.

I have read in some forums that Eva Dry doesn't do much for them and only brings down the humidity by 10% but that is with multiple plants in larger closet grows. This tent is 16 cubic feet in total. The eva dry is effective up to 333 cubic feet total.

The problem I have if I put a dehumidifier in my tent is that it raises the temps.

So I put it outside and kinda duct tape a short length of ducting to the dehumidifier exhaust and connect it to the intake of the tent.

Seems to work for me. :)

I only do it during lights off. As when the lights come on, there's no issues with humidity. My humidity has hit high 70's and I've never had any issues. Touch wood. :)

WOW DIDN"T THINK OF THAT. So now the passive intake has dehumidifed air going through it. I'll totally consider that then. Still wondering how the Eva Dry will work though since I'm trying to cut corners and stay within a budget. I'm leaning more toward that. I'll remember this tho.
